Overview
This family-run hotel offers various room types, beautiful grounds with an orchard and private bathing lake and free WiFi. It is located in the German Alps, between Siegsdorf and Inzell. Stood on the site of an 18th-century tavern, the Hotel Hörterer der Hammerwirt provides rooms in the main hotel building or the renovated blacksmith’s. Each room at the Hammerwirt features wooden furniture, cable TV and a bathroom with hairdryer. Most rooms include a terrace or balcony. Large breakfast buffet is served daily. Meals are served in the Hörterer der Hammerwirt’s restaurant- open at least 5 days a week. In warm weather, guests can eat on the terrace. The Hotel Hörterer der Hammerwirt is located on the B306 road but it is just 6 km from the A8 motorway. Lake Chiemsee is a 15-minute drive away and Salzburg can be reached in 30 minutes.

Friendly warm welcome and the amazing family running the hotel. The location was great for touring the area. The breakfast was top notch and the meals in the restaurant were also really good.

The owners are in charge, marvelous people give an oustanding servide, everything is uncomplicated because they make it easy for you, the secret to success by e.g. Apple. The hotel is a normal hotel, but the breakfast was absolutelly perfect.

“Excellent hotel with great hospitality and breakfast.”
The breakfast was great, the owner was very nice and the swimming lake was great. It was also very nice that there were several possibilities to sit in the evening with a coffee or tea. We also had the possibility to charge our electric car.

Excellent restaurant. Very nice breakfast. Very nice hosts and staff. They try to change the old landaus-style to scandy - some parts like the restaurant and a small living room are very nicely redecorated.
