I felt comfortable in my room, it’s a good size, with my own shower, and I have my space and privacy. Dave does smoke, and he makes a real effort to keep it from getting into the apartment. As long as the room doesn’t smell like smoke, I’m fine with it. He’s also very helpful.

Dave was a generous host. He met us on arrival, there is a free parking space included and the stay was great value. His place was in a great location in the centre of Shoal bay but was quiet with a comfy bed and plenty of toiletries provided. It is a room in Dave’s place so as expected he was there and friendly but was no trouble. Lovely view from the balcony. We only stayed for a short one night stay but can see it can be somewhere you can feel comfortable with plenty of storage space and use of the fridge. Dave gives great recommendations for local things to do. Close to shops and nice lookout walk
