“I had a great stay at this hostel in Shkoder! The place was very clean and beautifully decorated, which made it feel comfortable and welcoming from the moment I arrived. The staff were very kind and helpful, always making sure guests felt at home. Breakfast was provided in convenient packed portions, which was practical and easy for travelers. Everything was well organized, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the price was very affordable for the quality you get. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Shkoder!”

“No TV, no Internet, no owner...”
Clean room, nice bathroom (although no space for the shower). Good cheese and cottage for breakfast. I could park my motorbike under the roof and inside the yard)

“Great price! VERY clean! Great experience in general!”
The housekeeper was a sweetheart. She was very efficient, kept the house very clean all the time, cooked our meals at the moment of breakfast. Everything was fresh! The amount of money payed for the conformed it offered was very good. Also location was great 15 min walk from the city promenade. Kitchen had every tool to make a meal during the day and was kept very clean! A cute little garden also with flowers and a table to enjoy coffee outside.

To be fair, the property is nice and clean. I just had a racist experience with the caretaker, an old woman. The first time I was preparing something indian in the kitchen and she came in with a very sour expression and said that she cannot give me a smaller pan because she prepares breakfast in it and doesn’t use…(and she pointed at my spices). The second time I went into the kitchen I was only cutting se fruit but she again came in snooping to see what I am eating. The third time I asked her is she’s uncomfortable with me using the kitchen and I showed her my spices to relieve her fears. She looked at the packet of chilli and said ‘isn’t it dangerous?’. I tried to explain to her that this is a way of life in India and she heard me but kept saying this food is ‘too hard’ for people in balkans…

“Felt like home”
Pretty much everything. The location is nice, very quiet. The price was very good for what the property offered. The breakfast could have been better, but for the money, the fact that they offer a breakfast is a bonus.

“Best place to stay in shkoder”
You can tell it is a business ran with a lot of heart! The host is very kind and happy to help. It is only a 7 minutes walk from the centre and if you are planning to go on a hike in the early morning, it is the best place because it is very calm. Warm pancakes and eggs in the morning with coffee and juice. This is the best value for money in the area. I also felt very secure as a woman travelling alone but I would happily come back with my partner or my family.

The design of the house, equipments all it was classy.the colour of the wall and tables chairs all matched together.the Room was clean and bath 🛁 Room was big and clean. The bed was comfortable for sleeping (double bed) .I was really happy with the services. Also Nervana was very helpful . thanks a lot

“Shkodër Open doors...”
the location, so quiet, nice, clean, enjoyable, staff, Nirvana is a very nice and devoted person, friendly and helpfull, I really felt at home there. Best quality-price valuebprobably in Shkodër, 10 minutes to main street, stores very nearby, cafés as well. I enjoyed myself totally there, very recommended.

as this was my additional extra night - I will repeat... The place is located about 20 minutes walk from the center. But nearby shops, cafes, pubs. Everywhere close by walking distance. The apartment is very clean and tidy. There are free bikes to go around for some short trips. In any cases, staying in Shodra was very good and I have got really good time. The hosts are very friendly and nice. Andi was helpful with everything, even we only communicated through WhatsApp. Nirvana - you are brilliant! and your pancakes are legend! and cooked egs are so yummy :) Thank you Both! :)
