Spent the last four days of my solo trip at Sampark, and it was truly the highlight of my stay. The rooms are spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed and a breathtaking ocean view. The hosts made me feel like family. They prepared delicious breakfasts every morning (completely different each day!), took the time to chat with me, and gave thoughtful recommendations on what to do—including handwritten notes. If I come back to Shirahama, I would stay at Sampark again without hesitation. Thank you for giving such a perfect ending to my solo trip in Japan.

The greeting we received on arrival was extremely warm and welcoming. We felt incredibly relaxed and found it very easy to soak up a very peaceful and highly comfortable property.

Feeling very welcomed, very cozy room that invites to rest and self reflection, their breakfasts are by far the best I ever had. period. quality , variety and presentation wise . i really felt better after. a lot of wisdom behind them. having the chance to go to the temple every day is amazing. The Monk is the most sweet religious person i’ve ever met , very welcoming and helpful and the yoga was rally uplifting.

The staff were incredibly welcoming, respectful, and kind. I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast experience, as we had the chance to chat, I really enjoyed it! The room was lovely and felt safe, with an amazing view of the beach. I also followed their recommendations for the onsen and nearby restaurants, and they didn’t disappoint. ありがとうございます〜 Oh! Sampark means friends and is run by one of the friendliest couples I've ever met. We started the day with yoga at the temple near the B&B and then had an incredibly healthy breakfast overlooking the ocean. It is a treasure that is well worth a visit. And the town Shirahama has a lot to offer

Exceptional hospitality awaits you here! The food is sensational, culinary delights you will not forget. The view from the room overlooking the sea is mind-soothing, so are the optional morning meditations in the temple right next door. Particularily suitable for solo travellers I find, the cheerful and attentive hosts are locals and will direct you with great interest. I will come back!

“Excellent choice”

This is a great place to stay. The hosts are delightful - they are helpful and friendly and also speak enough English to make everything smooth. Breakfast was quite special, and different, every day. The location is very convenient - a short walk from Fisherman's Wharf but in a quiet street. I think the rooms themselves are nicer than in the pictures - I expected a small bedroom but ours was actually quite spacious with a seating area, storage space and a bathroom sink. The whole place is quite stylish.

This tiny B and B is very special. If you happen to be in Shirahama, you really should stay here. Everything is done with impeccable taste and great care and thoughtfulness. The cafe serves excellent coffee, home-made pastries, and a few small plates. The breakfast is healthy and beautiful. And the rooms are sparkling clean and well equipped. I think that all have a view of the ocean. The couple that owns Sampark is wonderful and kind and generous. Summary: a truly exceptional place.

I stayed for two days and I was served totally different breakfast. Both of them were soooo good! The place is like you are staying at a friend's home. Everything is fantastic!

This is a very well organized，maintained B&B. The owners have very good taste on decoration and high standard on cleaness. We love the view from our room and enjoy the breakfast very much. The location is very good，we walked to the beach and there are restaurants and shops nearby. Bus stops to the train station and scenic spots are just 3 mins away. Yet the whole place is very quiet. If you are interested，you can aslo join the morning service at the temple next door. Overall, we are very satisfied with our stay! Many kudos to Sampark!
