Great location, space and the host was very easy to communicate with

The premises were very well kept. We enjoyed going around town on the bikes. We have slept on futons in other places that were very hard but these futons were actually comfortable. We stayed here one night before heading into the mountains and for that purpose Shingū was a good stop. Big supermarkets to fuel up for walks.

A wonderful space thoughtfully converted from a storehouse with great attention to aesthetic quality and comfort. Host Koji was always soo kind and helpful meeting us with our luggage and returning us to the station. The location is super convenient for transport, dining and the sites of Shingu. Will return one day and definitely would stay at this property again

The host was very helpful throughout our stay. The accommodation was very spacious and had everything we needed. Our host explained how everything worked and provided us with enough bottled water to last our whole stay. There is a convenience store right around the corner. The accommodation’s garden was private and very beautiful.

Perfect stay! The house is cosy, sparkling clean and equipped with everything you need. Please come and stay here when you visit Shingu.

Owner was nice and helpful. He offered to give us a lift from and to the train station, despite late hours (10 p.m. was our arrival). House was clean, well equipped with tea/coffee, snacks. Around 100 meters from shops.

This was a charming base for activities in and around Shingu. The property and host and great - a fun opportunity to stay in an old kura building. In the hot sweaty summer, it’s great to have laundry facilities available too. Bedding is often thin and firm in Japan, this stay was exceptionally comfy.

The house is clean and cozy. Close to the convenience store and walkable to the JR station. The host is very warm & helpful. Highly recommended for trips to Shingu!

A great place to stay. Koji was so helpful, picked us up from the station and took us back when we left. Everything in the property was well thought out and we could not have asked for more. Very comfortable and clean and we thoroughly recommend it.

This place is utterly charming—cozy enough to ward off the chill of a winter night. The owner is a delight, and borrowing bikes in the morning to explore the town was the perfect way to spend a few hours. The shower? Immaculately clean. The kitchen is just right for whipping up a quick breakfast, though attempting a three-course dinner might be pushing it.

Spacious space that housed 5 guests. Kitchen was well appointed & there's table for the guests to congregate around. Car can be parked outside the property.

Host was very responsible. Place was very cosy and had everything you need! There was free welcome snack and water. Walking distance to all the good food and even a huge pharmacy.

Everything! The best place we stayed during our trip in Japan. The owner was so nice, he picked us up and drove us to the station again when we had to leave. The inn is great. A wonderful place to rest between long walks on the Kuman Kodo trail. A superbly comfortable, clean and lovely house with all the amenities we needed - excellent hot shower, free bikes to explore Shingu, washing machine/dryer, fridge and kitchen unit, super comfortable futon mattress beds and a big telly with Netflix! But most of all, the owner Koji, is so wonderfully accommodating, answering and helping with all our many questions and requests and going out of his way to recommend top places to eat, driving us to the station and offering us taxi services in and out of Shingu. We couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you
