“A cosy retreat against a coastal cold front while travelling.”

Location is a comfortable walk along the coast from the train station at Shiraoi and there's a closer station at Hagino 3 minutes away if necessary. Good location to choose if you're visiting Upopoy, and there's plenty of convenience stores and great food places nearby (including a rather nice pizza place). I was worried the heating might not be up to snuff in the below freezing weather, but the heaters and boiler performed excellently.

Really cosy and well put together. Everything you could need is there, the owners really take pride in this property. Plenty of space great facilities. Really loved it, by far best value out of any property I’ve stayed at in Japan.

Clean, clean, and clean! There was not even an ant inside the house, no bad smells when we entered in the house! Also, it was fully equipped, especially for the kitchen stuff! Although the location is a bit remote, yet, we were satisfied with the confort inside. The house is located 3 minutes away from a “no man” train station, yet, we planned well our program with the train schedules, so there was no restraint at all.
