Nestled in Sherbrooke’s historic neighbourhood, this European-style B&B showcases local art and is 7 minutes’ walk from the Sherbrooke Museum of Fine Arts. All guest rooms include a private bathroom. Featuring hardwood floors and colourful accents, each room at Île de Garde is equipped with free Wi-Fi. A hairdryer and toiletries are provided with all rooms. Appointed with several arched windows, Île de Garde B&B features lots of natural light. In warm months, guests can relax on the terrace. A children’s playground is also available on site. The Granada Theatre is 15 minutes’ walk from this B&B. The Orford Express, a tourist train with scenic views of the Eastern Townships, is 20 minutes’ walk away. “Fantastic stay and very friendly hosts”
All the art work and the way the house was decorated was amazing. The hosts were also amazing and even drove me to the bus station in the morning because it was snowing. the breakfast was first class in such a fabulous setting.

“Uncomfortable, couldn’t wait to leave”
Breakfast was good. Although the delivery of service was sub par. Seems they took a dislike to us and it showed. Food served with a side of disdain. Insisted breakfast on departure day was 9:15am and no later. Insisted on cleaning our room even though we declined the service. Was made to feel very uncomfortable. There was a plethora of religious articles and paintings in every room. A door to the exterior patio located in our room was not indicated for our use Location was great however.. Would not recommend this place to anyone I like.

“Beautiful house with every detail considered”
Beautiful majestic house with opportunity of use of all rooms. We enjoyed playing the piano in the large living room and breakfast was served in a stunning dining room. Breakfast was simply extraordinary - a real treat thank you. Hosts were attentive to all our needs.

Breakfast was delicious and the beds were very comfortable. The hosts were very pleasant. The bed and breakfast is located in a really pretty part of Sherbrooke with historic homes all around. It was easy to walk downtown.

“A quaint and convenient B&B.”
I'lle de Garde is a quaint B&B run by a lovely couple. We were upgraded for free to the King suite which was roomy and with a lovely bathroom. The breakfast was delicious. Walkling distance to restaurants and downtown.

The breakfasts were amazing. Every day was a different feast of local fruits, cheeses, pastries, etc.
