Alain is an excellent host. His place is very clean and a 15 minute walk to downtown Shawinegan and several good restaurants. He also makes a delicious healthy breakfast.

This place was incredible! Super clean, great location (walking distance to microbreweries and the downtown area) and easy communication with Alain, the host. Also, we came by bike and he stored them in his garage. The breakfast was fresh and delicious.

All went well. Information is as presented. Pool and jacuzzi were not opened yet as clearly stated in the add, so I can't comment. Super clean and smells good. Open mind and easy going owner. Great big window if you do not like air conditioning (room on first floor). Very quiet ! Slept with window opened.

Great place to stay if you're planning to visit Shawinigam and Mauricie Nat. Park. Very quiet area. Alain is the best host ever, very friendly and helpful..we had really nice talks. Not to mention the refined breakfast he prepares! Pity we couldn't try the swimming pool because of the weather, but I reckon it should be really nice and relaxing. Overall I highly recommend this accommodation.

We had a lovely time at this place. Alain is an amazing host who never hesitates to help his guests. He made us feel welcome and right at home. Every morning alain - who is an amazing cook - serves a fresh home made breakfast. We booked the suite, which was very spacious and clean. The outdoor spa is located in a beautiful garden. Ideal to relax at the end of a long day. Besides all of this, the located 30 minutes from la mauricie national park. So an ideal location to visit the park. We will definitely be coming back!

Alain was a fantastically warm host and put lots of love into the breakfast he made. I was blown away with the size of my basement accomodation and quality of ambience etc. Was perfect for my needs for one night. Couldnt recommend it highly enough.

The breakfast was delicious and healthy from the smoothie to the asparagus frittata. Lots of vegetables. Alain was a most gracious and attentive host.

We, a young couple, were staying at Alains House for two nights and it was truly amazing. He is the perfect host: friendly, kind, helpful. His English is good to communicate about everything. The room is very clean and the bed is super comfortable. The garden with jacuzzi and swimming pool is really beautiful. The absolut best is the fresh and tasty breakfast. The location of the house is also very good: 5min (20min walking) driving to the river where the restaurants are. 25min driving to the entrance of the national parc. Not only did we enjoy our stay, we also received a lot of helpful tips and suggestions for spots to go to from Alain. The stay at his bed & breakfast was surely an amazing experience we will always remember.

The room was spacious, with a private bathroom right next doors. The host is a very interesting man, who offers many complementary add-ons such as a delicious breakfast and a drink. Ultimatelly it was a very good experience for its value, and I'd definitely go back there again in the future.
