I liked the situation just inside the old town, but most of all the wonderful welcome and service by Lijiang who runs the establishment. She went way above and beyond anything one could reasonably expect to maximise our comfort and enjoyment. It was a wonderful experience to stay there. Thank you Lijiang.

Located within, but at the corner of the old town, i.e. quiet and everything in walking distance. Rooms are okay, but nothing special. However, you have a heater and really hot water which is very helpful, since it becomes quite cold in the evenings / nights (around 0 degree celsius) even in October.

The host was friendly giving us suggestions on what to do She also allowed us for late check out due to our train timing The room was good and clean. It has a heater to keep us warm during the cold weather.

- The location is easy to find - just a short 20-meter walk from the Didi drop-off point and it's conveniently close to the ancient town, with halal food easily accessible nearby. - The hosts were helpful and assisted us in ordering food. - The hotel is very clean and comfortable, with a relaxing and charming ambience in the compound area. - We received a complimentary room upgrade as we extended our stay until 5:30 PM before our next train. A small additional fee was charged for the extended hours.

The guesthouse is perfectly located in the center of Shangri-La while still being peaceful and quiet :) It’s clean, cozy, and a great place to relax—I had a wonderful stay there! But for me, the best part was July, the owner. She speaks English, is incredibly friendly, and helped me plan my trips around Shangri-La and its surroundings. Don’t hesitate to grab a beer with her by the fireplace—it’s the perfect way to end the day!

The place is charming, the rooms are spacious, bright, well-kept, and equipped with all the comforts you need for a pleasant stay. The staff was fantastic—always kind and willing to assist with any request, from booking taxis to providing local tips. They were also quick to resolve any issues. A truly positive experience; we highly recommend it!
