Exceptional stay and amazing hospitality! I had an incredible stay at this hotel. The environment is beautiful, and the entire place is exceptionally clean and comfortable. The views from the windows are absolutely stunning—it truly captures the beauty of Iceland. What impressed me most was the staff’s kindness. During our stay, there was a severe snowstorm, and all the roads were closed, leaving us stranded. The hotel team was incredibly understanding and helpful, allowing us to stay comfortably until the roads were safely reopened. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Iceland. The warmth of the people here is just as memorable as the scenery!

What an amazing stay! Had a waterfront view over the lake. Such a wonderful, quiet and serene town. The room was comfortable and warm, and we had a wonderful view of the aurora. When I come back, I will absolutely be staying here!

The beds were just a bit too soft. We prefer a bit more support. The windows overlooked the pathway so blinds had to be always shut for privacy. Consider installing privacy curtains? Or something to offer closure but light. Excellent shower ! Loved the efficient coffee maker ! Chocolate bar was a super nice touch !

Everything was perfect, the check-in was easy, it's in the middle of the small town and the rooms were modern and comfortable.

“Great location and comfy room”

Excellent location in a beautiful town. The inn is right on the rainbow road opposite the church with plenty of free parking right outside. Check in was easy, just let yourself in and pick up your key. Our room was facing the harbour and was a good size with a nice bathroom and comfy bed.

Picturesque village, quiet and clean. The guesthouse was easy to find. It is totally renovated with good taste. It's balcony rooms overlook a lovely pond. Even though they don't serve breakfast, the room was equipped with an electric kettle, a coffee machine and a cooler. There were courtesy coffee capsules, tea bags and a chocolate bar.

Clean, comfortable and accommodating. The kettle and coffee machine as well as the mini fridge were wonderful to have. Check-in was easy. We would imagine that the house might be a little noisier than we heard - noise does travel, however, the other guests staying there were very considerate as well. Note that there is no breakfast at the accommodation and the associated hotel did not serve any either on the date we were there. But we knew beforehand, so we were fine. In winter, restaurant services are limited as well. Know that if you’re not used to driving snowy and icy winter roads, access to Seydisfjördur might be very adventurous for you in wintertime. We enjoyed our stay in this very quiet town! Would recommend.

The location of the guesthouse and view from the balcony were both fantastic. The room was well decorated and the bed was very comfortable! Loved the toiletries - especially as they were both vegan and cruelty free - plus the coffee pods and chocolate were a lovely treat.

Location: good. Bed: comfortable. Room: really nice. Bathroom: nice, with a shower. Staff: we basically didn't interact with the host, so I have nothing to say about it. Other: I know that is not directly linked to the hotel, but the town is really beautiful!
