At the end of ring road trip we had to stay in town for several days because of the early arrival of icelands winter weather snowing us in . It was acreal pleasure to wait out out our ferry home in this charming historic building . It was quiet comfortable and practical , we even managed to do all our washing accumulated over 21 days travel.

We stayed 3 days while snowed in waiting for the ferry . It was ideal for us . Excellent location , warm , very spacious apartment , well equipped . We were even able to do our washing after 3 weeks touring. Bedroom down stairs lovely and quiet .

Gem in East - small town with harbor and history, hiking tracks, restaurants plus excellent place to stay. Spacious and well equipped place, where our family would have wanted to stay for longer. Furniture and interior design was so nice, cosy and all details seemed to be considered to be suitable for this area.

The house was vintage style decorated. It is very spacious and cozy. We also saw aurora lights just outside the house. It was a very pleasant stay.

We loved this apartment, it was more like a house with its two floors. Especially considering how tiny places are in Iceland & it was good value. Spacious, comfortable, quiet, very nicely furnished & well equipped (though a microwave would have been good). Good view over the village & mountains. We didn’t meet the owner but the notes were fine

The host sent us instructions before arrival and it was very helpful, I read lots of info about this property so I knew what to expect and I knew there wasn’t a separation between the “rooms” and it didn’t bother me. The apartment was really nice decorated and we felt very comfortable there, we made dinner and breakfast and the kitchen was well equipped. The drive to this apartment was the most beautiful drive of our 10 day trip, I didn’t know we had to drive up the snowy mountain to get down to this city and it was incredible. It’s a pity it was raining when we arrived and we couldn’t go out for a walk in the village and we didn’t see the northern lights, which we were very hopeful to see the lights in this city due to its prime location.

It's spacious and beautiful house. Living room and kitchen at first floor and bed room is at ground. We could meet the story with antique furnitures and some books in Seydisfjordur. This is the best house where I've stayed. "Perfect"
