Liked the location with view to the village. Bit unfortunate that engineering works began toward end of stay, rather ruined the view of the village and ambience - but no fault of yours. The house was cosy, clean with everything that was necessary for a pleasant stay.

This place is worth the expense. Lying centrally in Seydisfjördur and with surprisingly good furniture makes it cost and nice to stay in. We were 4 people staying for 4 nights and being selfcatering a lot of the time enjoyed the well equipped kitchen, the solid dining table and the good sofa and armchairs. Bathroom was excellent, beds good. Everything clean and tidy. A laundry room came in handy.

“A few days exploring the East Fjords.”
Beautiful traditional house, clean, comfortable and the staff were exremely helpful. Totally charming, looking out over the lagoon and watching the seals and birds come and go. Would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend.
