The hostel was exceptional. I did not have much experience staying in hostels before, but this place showed me that a hostel can be clean, comfortable, and genuinely pleasant to stay in. The building itself is beautiful and has a lot of character, as it used to be an old hospital. I really liked the authentic elements preserved in the interior, which gave the place a unique atmosphere. We stayed in a private room for two people while sharing the common amenities. The room was small but very nice and clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the sheets were especially soft and pleasant. The kitchen was also a huge advantage. It had everything needed for cooking, and it was spacious enough to use comfortably even when other guests were there, thanks to the multiple stoves and large common area. Another highlight was the road leading to the hostel, which is incredibly beautiful, with waterfalls around almost every corner. Absolutely loved this place and would definitely stay there again.

“Expensive for what you get”

The staff were friendly, the location to the ferry was excellent and they let us check in early. The building is a hostel and has a long and distinguished history. The room was definitely on the old but spacious side with its own bathroom.

Our room had private bathroom facilities, and option we chose. The location of the hostel was perfect as was the location of the town. All guests followed the keep the noise down rules so no problem.

It was one of the most creative accomodation I ever had. I think it is a great idea that they made an old hospital building into hostel. Definitely a recommendation! The sauna in the basement was also great, and the kitchen is very nice and equiped.

The kitchen was great for cooking and had a super dining area conveniently located next to it. We didn’t use the sauna but it looked well-maintained. The washing machine was also a welcome appliance.

Super charming

We liked everything : the atmosphere, sauna, the decoration and the green mind and system of trust to pay what we need. We will come back :)

“Perfect for backpackers”

Lovely, cosy, warm accommodation with great facilities. The staff was lovely, the location is great. The bed was really comfortable.

All in all for one night the hostel is recommended. The beds were cozy, it was a bit hard to sleep on the upper bed (two level beds) especially for a bigger person. The toilets were clean.

Nice hostel in a historic place. We have got a nice room with our own kitchen. The place was clean and the unit we rented had everything you need.
