The common dining area is very cozy and the kitchen are very well equipped. Very easy self-check in. And the guy working there is very nice and friendly, doing a great job.

spacious dorm with plenty of room for luggage. sheets and towels felt clean, wifi worked well throughout, enough parking for everyone, the kitchen was well equipped and dining room was lovely in an open space setting.

The private rooms were all booked, so we had to stay in the 4-person mixed room, but that didn't bother us at all cause the common area is so beautiful that we spent the whole time there. I loved the decoration of the kitchen (well equipped) and the dining area, with big windows and a nice view

Such a little gem, a little outside of the city. The owner is so warm and kind. The whole space carries so much history and the view on the valley is simple the best. I can only recommend. Kitchen all equipped and space clean.

Nicely located hostel with a wonderful kitchen with a view, at the edge of the village. The owner was responsive to our request to have two seperate beds, and solved the issue instantly including new bed linnen.

This is a fairly typical off-the-beaten-path simple youth hostel, but it has a welcoming atmosphere that makes it ideal for a one- or two-night stay while traveling through Iceland. The real highlight of this place is a very cosy kitchen and dining area with a beautiful view of the fjord. While some features are a bit dated, the space is overall very comfortable and well organized.

Beautiful views over the fjord from the dining area. Availability of tea and coffee. Friendly welcome from the guy who serviced the rooms. We arrived early on the ferry and were able to leave our luggage at the hostel until check-in time (2 pm).
