Manoir de l’Abbaye is set within a 4000 m²-garden in Seuilly, 900 metres from Musée Rabelais and 9 km from Château de Chinon. Guests can relax on the terrace or take a swim in the outdoor pool. The guest rooms are individually decorated and feature exposed stone walls and wooden beams. They each include a seating area and a private bathroom with a shower. A continental breakfast with pastries, orange juice and hot drinks can be enjoyed in the breakfast room or on the terrace on sunny mornings. Free private parking is available on site and Loudun is 21 km away. The property is 16 km from the Abbey of Fontevraud and a 35-minute drive from Saumur.

“The most loveliest place for a summer holiday”
The owners were very friendly and helpful and welcoming. We loved our 2 bedroom cottage, the peaceful surroundings, the pool and the close proximity to many castles. We would stay there again.

We loved everything! The location is perfect close to Chinon and many castles. The estate is wonderfull. Peacfull, beautiful and very specious. The hosts were lovely and friendly, they even gave us some honey that they made :) Breakfast was so good and reach! Just note, some of the rooms are on the top floor and there is no elevator. Not critical though. Highly recommended!

Thierry and Chantelle were very helpful. The location is idyllic. It has a great pool. The pool area does have some shade, which has been welcome, in this latest heatwave.

“Excellent”
Lovely owners made us feel very welcome. We had a large room which houses 3 of us very comfortably. Pool was nice especially in the mornings when it was at its warmest. Breakfast was tasty made up of croissants, french bread, home made cakes and yoghurt.

“Great location to explore Loire”
The hosts are really friendly, small and very relaxed B&B, quiet, excellent base to explore Loire with fantastic restaurants within short drive at Chinon.
