Overview
This former Majorcan farmhouse is set in its own tranquil grounds just 5 km from the coast. It has a swimming pool, wonderful views and free Wi-Fi. The rooms at the adult-only Sa Carrotja combine stone walls and wooden beams. The interiors are light and include antique furniture and beach towels. Some have private terraces. Sa Carrotja’s attractive gardens have been planted with flowers and plants native to the island. The outdoor swimming pool is open throughout the spring and summer. Around it is a terrace with sunbeds and parasols. There are also bicycles available for free. Sa Carrotja’s restaurant uses organic produce from the hotel’s own garden. It offers a buffet breakfast. There is a lounge and a dining room for non-smokers. Sa Carrotja is located near the village of Ses Salines, where you can find shops and restaurants.

The location is great, the beaches on this side of the island are lovely. There are bikes which they let us use and we rode 30 minutes to the beach. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Would recommend hiring a car to get to this place. It is easy to drive around the island the roads are very nice.

We are completely satisfied with the hotel. We were impressed by the green and blooming hotel area. Our room was comfortable and clean. There were shampoo, shower gel, hairdryer, towels for pool and even bathrobes in bathroom. Staff was friendly and ready to help. We really enjoyed breakfasts especially fresh orange juice. The hotel is worth staying.

“Mallorcan country dream”
Sa Carrotja is the perfect place to relax. Would highly recommend to stay here if you are looking for authentic experience. They have a really nice breakfast, bikes that you can borrow and a nice common area. It’s also quite near the most popular cala’s if you want to explore e.g. Cala Llombards and Caló des Moro (a rental car is needed for those).

Property was just as advertized. Excellent breakfast, helpful and warm staff, beautiful grounds, and centrally located in the area if you have a car. Bikes were available and if we had more time we would have liked to have used them as there was a safe path to the sea.

The property is beautifully laid out, plentiful parking, lovely pool area and chickens laying eggs for your breakfast. The honesty bar is very convenient and our room (one of their newest suites) was lovely with a private balcony and terrace.
