We had a wonderful stay in La Jara. The place is a peaceful retreat about 30 min drive from Monfragüe National Park with other hikes close by. Amparo and Paco are wonderful hosts who made us feel extremely welcome, they gave us a tour around their amazing garden and left us with lots of their produce. We stayed three nights but would have loved to stay much longer. Highly recommended!

Lovely quiet location with great views . It was a comfortable place to stay in and the owners are very accommodating , they will do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable

The apartments are located in the small village of Serrejon, in the Extremadura region. It is very peaceful and quiet, with a beautiful landscape surrounding the place, and a beautiful view in direction of the national park. I especially loved the vegetable garden, that the owners tend to with a lot of love. Also there is parking right in front of the house.

“Perfect!”
The location was perfect, with a beautiful view of the valley and mountains. It was wonderfully quiet and you come here to relax completely. The apartment was perfect. An excellent shower, a nice bed with good and large mattresses. The host lady and gentleman, Amparo and Paco, are super nice and welcoming. Despite the fact that we barely speak Spanish, we got by with hands and feet. We were given a tour, information about the area, the birds and delicious oranges, lemons and eggs. We could not have wished for a better hostess and gentleman.

“Modern apartment in peaceful village”
Friendly, very helpful host, modern comfortable well-equipped apartment with everything you need, including instant hot water all the time and strong WiFi. Peaceful location but only a short drive to motorways and towns along excellent roads. Within short distance of nature reserves. Lots of useful leaflets, maps etc. The roads and even the motorways are very quiet, making driving around so easy. It's only 2.5 hours drive from Madrid Airport.
