Paulo and Claudette were amazing hosts! Their pousada feels like paradise - lush greenery, perfectly clean and high quality rooms, generous and delicious homemade breakfast. Very personal experience, my highest recommendation!

“Best place to stay in Serra Grande”

I have stayed three days in this pousada and I can wholeheartedly recommend it! There are four units in two buildings so there is a lot of privacy. The bed is excellent and the bathroom is really big. Everything is quite new. Claudete and her husband are very receptive and go the extra mile to adapt the breakfast to your wishes as far as possible. The location is very quiet (no traffic), though it is only a ten minutes walk to the centre of the village, where you have good restaurants as well as, for example, an organic supermarket (not even big cities have!), serving good coffee from an expresso machine and pastry. Right in front of the pousada begins a path that leads to a very beautiful beach (Prainha) but there are many more options close by, and a bit further away in Itacaré as well.

I had a lovely long weekend at the Pousada. It’s well located. Close enough to the village to walk to shops and restaurants but not right in the centre. It was peaceful and quite to disconnect and explore the area. Breakfast was delicious and the attendant of the hosts made all the difference.

The hosts were absolutely amazing, caring and helpful! Paulo (the owner) even brought us through the jungle and showed the hidden fantastic beach! The Food was great. All was a dream.

The hosts, Paulo and Claudete, are exceptionally welcoming, friendly, and full of info and tips about the local attractions. The rooms are very comfortable, good shower, and absolutely immaculate. The breakfast is amazing; with eggs, tapioca, a variety of fruits & juices, homemade cakes, fresh breads from the local bakery, etc...delicious! The pousada is conveniently located a 10-15 minute walk from "Prainha", (one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen, with a waterfall and a natural spring), and 10-15 minute drive from several other great beaches and waterfalls. It is also about a 10 minute walk from the quaint town center with a little park and several good restaurant options.

The Pousada was a bit away from town-center which made it very calm and quiet. It was right in front of a path to the beautiful beach called "Prainha", which was, so far, the most beautiful beach during my trip to Brazil. Claudette (the owner) was very friendly and guest service orientated. She made a great breakfast and was nice talking to. The room itself was very clean and tidy. The view in the garden was unique and the bed was very comfortable. Also there was a Restaurant called "Toca de Tapioca" in town, which you should try. They made tasty and effortable food! Overall I was more than satisfied with my stay and I wish Claudette more guests to come and experience this Pousada in Serra Grande.
