“An unreasonable demands from the host”
I had a terrible experience at this campsite that others should be aware of. After booking, the host demanded a €1000 deposit via email, which was never mentioned in the booking terms. We resolved this after explaining to reception that we are a regular family who had stayed here before and always left the property clean. The problems didn't stop there. The host falsely accused us of leaving the property unclean and threatened to charge us €500, a fee not mentioned in the terms. On the day of our arrival, neither the host nor their concierge met us on time, leaving my family with three children wandering the campsite. We had to repeatedly contact reception and the concierge, which was the start of a very strange and hostile experience. When we left, the property was clean and undamaged, as confirmed by the concierge. Despite this, I received an abusive message from the host accusing us of leaving the property in a bad state and threatening to charge €500. This is completely unacceptable and reflects an extremely hostile attitude. The host should provide proof to support such accusations. Based on this experience, I am leaving a negative review and will consider further action if the host continues to be unreasonable. I strongly advise potential guests to be cautious and consider other options.
