“A fantastic location near the ancient city walls, perfect for scenic walks & thoughtful hosts”

Our family of five—two children and my elderly father-in-law—had an absolutely amazing stay at I'm Green stay. I chose this location for its perfect access to the ancient city wall hikes—just minutes away. There’s a beautiful park nearby that the kids adored, and my husband’s daily walk to the Malbawi Observatory was a highlight. We also loved the easy hike to Bukchon—just a 25-minute walk—full of spring flowers and charming wildlife. In the living room, a large square window framed a postcard-perfect view of the fortress wall and city skyline—like a dream. Ki-tae and Yoo-jin, the wonderful owners, went above and beyond to make us feel at home, providing thoughtful, complimentary provisions and attending to every little detail. The logistics were easy—though it’s on a hill, we highly recommend using the village bus, which stops right at the doorstep, making it simple to get to the main station and all over the city. And we were spoiled with fantastic Korean restaurants—right along Seongbuk-ro or just a short bus ride away. The Korean cuisine here is a must—so much incredible food. This was truly a magical, unforgettable stay—we couldn’t have asked for more.

Kitae is a host with excellent taste; we loved the decor. Since our stay was close to Christmas, he set up a Christmas tree for us! There was also a musical Christmas decoration in the kitchen that the kids adored. The house is located in a residential area, which I think is a great way to experience authentic Seoul life. As we were traveling with both seniors and children, we relied on taxis to get around, so the slope of the neighborhood wasn't an issue for us. The nearby Waryong Park is also a lovely spot for a stroll. The unit itself is clean, cozy, and spread across two floors. This layout was perfect because those who wanted to sleep early could stay downstairs, while others could continue chatting quietly in the living room. We were very grateful for the three toilets, though only two of them have basic partitions for dry/wet separation. We mainly used those two for showering. Note that when two people shower at the same time, the water pressure drops slightly, but it was still manageable. Overall, the space was a bit smaller than we expected (which seems common in Seoul), but it was acceptable for our group of 7 adults and 2 children. However, since it was winter and we all had 28-inch suitcases, some of us had to keep our luggage in the living room. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. A huge thank you to Kitae for helping us order delivery food! We recommend this place.

They went above and beyond providing us with welcome treats in abundance, an iron that was so welcomed as most of our other stays in Korea had none. The host was exceptional providing us with a free shuttle service to the guesthouse.

Fantastic! I have used booking.com a lot and Kitae is the best host! He was very friendly and friendly, greeting us at I'm Green upon check-in and explaining everything. Lastly, he also sent me a farewell gift! The accommodations were impeccable, with great attention to detail and very unique and beautiful. It takes a little while to climb his way, but all taxis take you there and there is plenty of hiking and fresh air. Don't hesitate and make a reservation. You won't regret it!
