We loved the place !!!!!! It is so so so so beautiful, it has a certain charm to it, a certain mystical vibe that the art in the style of a curiosity cabinet gives. In addition, it is super central - you get out and you are in the heart of the historic town :)

Great location in the old town. Bakeries, restaurants close by. Very funky decorated space, with a big, old fashioned clawfoot bath tub.

This is not a breakfast providing accommodation but breakfast can be got a few minutes away. The shabby chic of the hidden, bijou accommodation. It provides a good impression of an artists room. Its location could not be better as the lane joins the main drag within a minute on foot. The little local car park was free and just two minutes from the entry to the apartment. It's as good a solution that one can get in the old village.

Thia place is exceptional. Beautifully styled, very comfortable, very silent at night, I woken up to the birds and absolutely nothing else . The low chair by the window is ideal for reading and for dreaming away. Wonderful bathtub, comfortable bed. I have not slept as deeply for a very long time. A place to find yourself.

“Lovely room in centre of gorgeous medieval town”

The room is beautifully decorated and in the heart of a gorgeous medieval town. The bath was fabulous and both hosts were lovely and mostly seemed to understand my rudimentary French. The breakfast is definitely worth taking up as it is provided in a lovely old property on the ramparts (a short walk away).

Loved the town. Semur is one of the most beautiful, charming towns I have been to in France, and we have lived in France for 15 years now. The apartment is very small, but really well-decorated and Cecile has made brilliant use of very little space. The location is excellent. Parking was not a problem. We had breakfast the next morning at another property, also lovely. 8 euros for a standard French breakfast (baguette, croissants, butter, jam, yogurt, coffee/tea). There are a number of reviews complaining about "pornography". There is no porn. The owner is clearly an artist and she has paintings and ceramics celebrating the female form. It seems like some prudish people need to loosen up!

I've never stayed in anything so full of character charm and porn. It was brilliant! The hostess was charming and the property was within 20 meters of the main restaurant area. Very handy!

Beautifully renovated with a brilliant location. We loved the decor. The location was excellent, right in the middle of the historic centre, where there was a lovely market on Sunday morning and a great wine shop.
