The host was very welcoming and accomadating! All the rooms are spacious and well equipped! The kitchen is functional and large enough for a few people working in it at the same time! The large living room is tastefully furnished! The parking is in the private yard so it is very convenient! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back! We enjoyed the village, which is small and has a very local feeling. This makes a great backdrop for a quiet vacation. We loved Maison Jazey: the subdued grandeur of the building, the look and feel of the apartment. The attention to detail and the wonderful hosts. We felt very much at home, and relaxed. We thoroughly enjoyed staying there and decided the return the following week to spend the last days of our vacation.

Fantastic! Everything was just perfect and exceeded our expectations. Great location in the centre of Semur with secure parking in the courtyard. Flat is in a former mansion / palace. Large rooms with high ceilings. Flat has been renovated & decorated to the highest standards. Clean, tasteful. Aircon in bedroom. Hosts were super friendly and helpful (eg arranging dinner bookings, etc.). Fully equipped kitchen with Nespresso coffee machine. Breakfast is optional (at a surcharge) and is absolutely worth it with a selection of freshest local products. Apartment would be great for a longer stay as it provides all the amenities one would need. If I could give 12 out of 10 I would

“Exceptional apartment in a traditional French town.”

This is a beautiful apartment right in the centre of town, but in a very quiet location (except as detailed later) and with secure on-site free parking. The kitchen is compact but furnished to a high standard, with everything required, even a coffee machine with pods. The other rooms, study, bedroom, dining room and bathroom are all capacious and the whole apartment was spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable. The bedroom had excellent air-conditioning which we tried only once for ten minutes, simply to evaluate its efficacy. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast may seem a little expensive at first glance but it was exceptional, both in quality and variety, but not advisable if you like a continental style breakfast (available in nearby cafes). We would have loved to have repeated the experience on our second (departure) morning, but neither of us eat too much on our day of travel.

Authentic French castle with large rooms. The location is very good. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty and the champagne divine.

Located in the heart of the beautiful town, this extraordinary 18th century villa promised much, yet managed to exceed even the highest expectations. This was ensured and delivered mainly by the unique atmosphere and authentic charm of a preserved piece of history, but also by the extraordinary care and attitude of the hosts Stephanie and Tom. They are so kind, pleasant and caring, they really do make a difference. The whole apartment is so spacious and tastefully furnished, yet so clean, comfortable and cozy. And then get ready for a unique breakfast on a silver tray! If you’re fond of history, architecture, art and culture, you will hardly find anything like that in this part of France. I can't recommend it enough. *Last but not least, Stephanie makes the best cakes!

Magnificently appointed accommodation in very traditional style - for two people you get two toilets and a separate dining room ! Very friendly and amenable host who invited us to a town event the evening we stayed. This visit couldn’t have been better.

Maison Jazey is a beautifully appointed spacious apartment in a very grand building. It is decorated very tastefully with lovely furniture. Sleeping arrangements can be 2 separate beds, one being a fold out lounge.
