“perfect for solo divers”

i come here every year for my dives. i like that it's right at the front. where most dive centres are. at least the one i commonly dive with, just a few doors away. i wake up for a quick breakfast at one of the coffee shops beside and head for my dive. coming back after a day's dive and tired and salt watery, i can get straight into the shower. so location and convenience is a plus for me.

There was a power outage since four days before my arrival which was expected to last for at least 8 days, but they told me only when i wanted to check in and it was already too late to book another accomodation. All other places had installed power generators, but this hostel decided to not do anything. They didn‘t even give a discount! So you had the noise from the generators of the neighbours, but no electricity. Do not book a trip to the islands with them unless you are chinese, since the company who runs these trips has only chinese customers who will insult you all day long and don’t know how to behave. The tour operator doesn‘t care about you! I was also set on another tour than i had booked….

Place is very comfy and clean, staff is friendly, hot water, AC, close to so many good restaurants. Every evening coming from the chaotic Semporna city, it felt like an oasis of comfort and good vibes. Staff helped us book an island hoping tour very last minute and a minivan to airport. We did laundry through a local service provided by them and it came back smelling so nice.

“Great option close to the action”

Great location right in the port. Only steps from where the boat let us off. Small room but clean and tidy. Big balcony with a nice view of the busy waterway.

Perfect location by the pier for the tours and all the restaurants around, this hostel was an unexpected surprise in Semporna. The room was small but the bed space so comfy, featuring a ventilator and a mobile shelve for your things. The common space was very big to chill and work, the WiFi good and the showers modern and spacious. The best discovery in Semporna's limited offers.

A lovely, good quality hostel with clean rooms, nice sea views and a hot shower. The area around the hostel was fine - lots of restaurants, shops and tour providers. A good base for accessing day trips and also Mabel Island.
