Great location next to the ski lifts. Modern and spotless , great spa and pool, very welcoming. Friendly and efficient staff. The food quality was Michelin standard as were the staff. Beautiful family run hotel.

Location is top, but feels a bit like you are in a car park rather than an alpine valley. Service was always with a smile and a joke. Good banter. Best breakfast ever (5 types of butter, 4 types of honey, 16 juices...) Best Wellness ever (5 different saunas, ice rub, spring water drink fountain, pool, jacuzzi etc)

It’s a family-ran hotel and you can really feel it - everybody is very attentive and makes all guests feel special. The breakfast was excellent, we also enjoyed the fantastic SPA - spacious, clean and well-maintained. We couldn’t wish for a better location - we visited in summer and it was very convenient to get to the trails. We visited other towns in the valley and we liked Selva the most - so you can stop searching and go book Laurin for your next stay!

A family-owned hotel in an ideal location for exploring Val Gardena. The staff was exceptionally nice and welcoming, I would also highlight how clean and put together everything was. We had a great stay!

“Great stay at the Laurin”

I thought this was a great hotel, large enough to have plenty of things to do and small enough to retain its charm and friendly environment. The pool, fitness centre, jacuzzi and saunas were very good and much appreciated after a hard day's hiking. It was refreshing to see that access to all the facilities were included in the cost of the room. The owners and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good. We had an excellent stay. I thought the Laurin was going to be good, but it was even better than I expected. Everyone there should be pleased that all their hard work has succeeded in providing a lovely place to stay.

Everything in the Laurin Hotel was excellent. We had a fantastic time and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The hotel facilities were excellent, we really enjoyed the spa area which was always spotless. We would love to return again.

“Do not hesitate, just book”

The hotel is RUN very efficiently, literally, everybody is busy as a bee to make your stay comfortable. I was impressed by the owners/ staff level of English and the owners' attention to every detail; nice touches like a glass of prosecco on a Sunday evening and some water when you leave. Excellent breakfast, local produce used, very good coffee and, no joke, five kinds of butter. Spacious room, safety box, comfy bed, good lighting, fluffy gowns, and a basket for your pool stuff, elegant lounge, and tasty drinks accompanied by some snacks , the list goes on and on. We found the facilities in the atmospheric jacuzzi&sauna zone quite impressive, and the temperature of the water in the pool pleasantly relaxing. Good location close to restaurants, a cable car, and a chair lift. On arriving, drive straight up the door to unpack, and then you will get the card that opens the gate to the parking lot at the back.

“Little bit of luxury in Selva”

I stayed in the single room which was lovely with a balcony. Room was spotlessly cleaned every day, wide variety of buffet breakfast available. Location very good, bus stop very close. I used the bus to go between all the villages so you didn’t need to worry about finding parking. They also have an area outside to sit and relax, spa and heated indoor pool which I used every afternoon after a hike. Would definitely stay again.

“Very nice and comfy, will return”

The Ghiorgi familly, the owners were very involved in the small hotel activity, they were nice, friendly and always wanted to help you accodate better. The fact that they do not have a working restaurant in the summer evenings is not a problem, there are plenty of options that you can reach in less then 5 mins walking distance. Very good location to use as a hiking “station” if you come by car. They also have a easy to work EV charging station, great SPA and a fabulous bar that you can use in the evening for a night cap.

I’ve never written a hotel review before - but feel I have to for this one. Had a brilliant stay from start to finish. Very welcoming and friendly staff, who go out of their way to help you. Owners up front and present the whole time. The BEST European breakfast I have ever had - honestly everything you could possibly think of. Lovely garden, wellness area and brilliant room with a balcony. Even loved the ‘duvet and towel art!’ All the little extra things - like being offered free cake and bar snacks and advice about where to walk. Thank you for a fabulous stay - as a solo traveller it really makes a difference.
