Overview
Chalet Elisabeth dolomites alpin & charme is located in front of the Campo Freina ski slopes and offers direct access to the Sella Ronda ski tour. It features Alpine-style rooms facing the Dolomites Mountains. The garden has sun loungers, a fountain, sauna and hot tub. Homemade jams, cakes and bread as well as cheese, eggs and speck ham feature for breakfast, which is served buffet style. Guests of the Elisabeth Chalet can relax on the terrace, which is set by a small lake and a tree house. Offering bright natural wood furnishings, rooms are all equipped with a flat-screen satellite TV and a private bathroom with bath or shower. Most rooms also come with a balcony. A public bus stopping 20 metres away provides links to Bolzano and Bressanone. The centre of Selva di Val Gardena is 1 km away. Hiking paths around the Puez-Geisler National Park and the Sella mountain group start a few km away. The property also includes a heated ski deposit and free outdoor parking.

“Very pleasant chalet in a great location”
The owner was very friendly and welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us, including making reservations at some restaurants. Chalet is right at the end of the slope and a 1-2 minute walk to a gondola and chairlift, also very close to the centre. It was clean very comfortable and the spa area was really nice

The hospitality and kindness of the staff was enormous. Huge thanks to the host for making us feel like at home. The rooms were big and tidy. Delicious breakfast full of local and bio products, homemade fresh eggs and coffee, everything in lactose-free version.

“Fantastic!”
What a treat! We had such a nice time, the beautiful room, the excellent breakfast with plenty of fresh and healthy options, the fantastic hiking advice and perfect location just outside of all the busy areas and the wellness area to relax after the hikes. Would almost not recommend it so we are sure we are able to go back ☺️

“Perfection in the heart of Selva”
We had a wonderful week-long stay at Chalet Elizabeth. Every need was looked after by the charming host Sabine. The décor and rooms were stunning, featuring hand-carved wooden creations by Sabine’s husband. The bathrooms were well-stocked with hair dryer, toiletries and dressing gowns. Breakfast was first-class, with eggs and coffee made to order, fresh fruit and vegetables and assorted baked goods. Location is unbeatable in the heart of Selva, 1 minute from Costabella chairlift and Campo Freina draglift (which leads to Ciampinoi gondola). You can also reserve the hot tub, sauna and aromatherapy room for exclusive use for an extra cost which is a nice touch. Private covered parking and ski room with boot warmers were also appreciated! Can’t wait to stay here again, highly recommended!

“Perfect Chalet in best village in Val Gardena”
This was an absolutely perfect holiday for us! Sabine is an amazing hotelier and her wealth of knowledge made our stay a breeze. She was able to help us plan ski routes, dinners and transportation. Every morning she greeted us with a smile and delicious breakfast and was always up for a chat and a laugh. There was honestly nothing I would change about this lovely Chalet!
