Host were lovely extremely accommodating Food was delicious and it was lovely to have a home cooked meal. Hot tub was warm and ready to go and room was a little more rustic than I expected but had everything we needed. Hot tub we would have liked to use more but limited hours for usage.

“Incredible stay at Villa Irene”
What an incredible place! From the moment we arrived at Villa Irene we knew it was special. The location is stunning and peaceful. Irina was warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We had two incredible home cooked dinners which was such a special touch. The food was amazing! I It was a great location, just a 10 minute drive to the Lakes. I'd recommend this place to everyone visiting Plitvice, and hope to return. Thank you Irina and Damir!

“Great hospitality, deliciously home cooked meals in a comfortable space with beautiful views.”
As a family of 4 with two teenage girls, the room was spacious, very clean with very comfortable beds! The outdoor space was very comfortable with great views and great jacuzzi. The home booked dinners were delicious and the hospitality of Damir and Irene were exceptional.

Welcoming hosts who gave great advice on visiting the lakes and avoiding the worst of the crowds. The stay was in an amazing location. Great meal options- little more expensive but the cooking and 3 courses were worth it. Very proud and deserving cook.

“Lovely property and excellent hospitality”
We travelled as a family of four (with two teenagers) and the room was spacious with a queen and large (and comfortable) sofa bed - and still plenty of room. The outdoor setting was like another room allowing us to enjoy the beautiful countryside (sighting a hedgehog was.a bonus). The room was clean and had everything we needed for 1 night stay. Damir was an excellent host checking in with us before arrival and telling us about the local area and the best route for the lakes walk. We used the hot tubs before dinner. Dinner was amazing - Irene an excellent cook. Very generous serves. Breakfast was brought to us in the morning and again generous and we were able to take leftovers with us. Definitely recommend.

Our stay at this property was fantastic, thanks to the friendly host and Irene’s exceptional home-cooked meals at the restaurant. The apartments are spacious and spotless, and we loved being just a short drive from the beautiful lakes. Relaxing in the open-air hot tub after a day of exploring the park was the perfect bonus to our getaway. Highly recommended for a restful and delightful experience!

Welcome of the hosts: Damir and Irene have been very kind, super friendly and welcoming The apartment was perfect, clean and well furnished, nothing missed. Even if we arrived late afternoon, Damir gave us the possibility to try the hot tubes. Our kids enjoyed a lot this experience. The dinner prepared by Irene was superb. A nice food experience in a fantastic place. Irene cooked gluten free dishes for our celiac son who enjoined them finishing completely. It has been a fantastic stay. Super advised to everyone who wants to visit Plitvice park and have some rest far from the bustle of the city.

The owners were exceptionally friendly & hospitable and made sure you felt welcome & comfortable. The room was spacious and beautiful as was the location, near the main road but quiet in the nature. Food was excellent too.
