The hot tub was the best part of the stay and made the cottage feel more enjoyable. The location was peaceful and convenient for our route, and the cottage had good potential for a short stopover. With better cleaning and clearer instructions, it could be a much better place to stay.

We found a hot tube prepared for us next to our cottage, which was a nice surprise. The owner was super friendly, the place clean and spacious, and very comfortable. Felt like home. Beautiful view from the windows!

“This has potential to be lovely but a few issues need resolving”
We did not get any arrival instructions or directions and we found the cottage hard to find. We eventually discovered the reception of the hotel that manages it (not very close so we had to drive) and got our key. We had to pay a small accommodation tax - but this was the only rental that charged this. The cottage was rather scruffy outside and it looks like work is still going on with renovations. So not a nice area to sit outside. The inside is large and nicely decorated but was not very well equipped in some areas; we did not have 4 coffee cups/mugs, there was no kettle even though it was mentioned in the listing, there were not four wine glasses - we had to go to the hotel to get some. The WiFi code did not work. There was just one sofa so not enough comfortable seating for 4 adults. We also noticed that two windows were broken. Overall the property needs a bit more work to achieve its potential

Beautiful, spatious and cosy cottage. Very warm and well equipped. Having a private jacuzzi was amazing after the whole day of hiking. We recommend!
