Wonderful little cozy place.

Great value for money. All the facilities were very clean and the shared kitchen was well equipped. The hot tub was a lovely way to spend the evening, and the dogs were very friendly!

We were warmly welcomed by the owner’s dogs — incredibly cute and very cuddly. One of them even showed us a little trick with a ball on a rope, which was absolutely adorable and immediately created a lovely atmosphere. The owner herself is exceptionally kind and caring, and she deserves the biggest thanks. Knowing how important it was for us to see the Northern Lights, she ran out of the house in the middle of the night in her bathrobe just to let us know they were visible. It was an unforgettable, almost magical experience. The rooms are cozy, clean, and very comfortable. There is also a hot tub, which is a great addition and makes the stay even more enjoyable. I truly recommend this place and we will definitely be coming back!

We wanted accommodation that was a little different and we certainly got it at the guest house. Really quirky accommodation but very comfortable and well set up for this arrangement. We arrived on a beautiful day and experienced the fabulous spa. Overnight the weather changed but the family were incredibly helpful and allowed us to stay until the weather improved. They also helped with parking in the snow. We felt like we had an authentic Icelandic experience staying here with the genuine warmth we received.

Such a lovely place with so much love in details! Definitely a unique experience with both host (and two dogs) being absolutely humble. Such good first nights in Iceland.

Great location, everything was very clean and comfy. Susan was very friendly and the check in was very easy. Amazing view to Aurora.

The rooms were super cosy and the hot tub was amazing to watch the Northern Lights from.

Absolutely perfect location. Beautiful Shepherds hut to stay in. So warm, cosy and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped too. The shower was excellent and the hot tub a lovely facility. The light pollution was minimal so we got to the experience the wonder and beauty of the Aurora Borealis!

We loved our host Susanna, and her dogs Nero and Pluto! She made sure we had everything we needed. We were able to see the Northern Lights from the hot tub on site. The accommodation is very cute and cosy, and we had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay.

We were greeted by our host and her dogs which was a wonderful welcome. We were shown to our hut and guidance was given on the shared kitchen and shower room plus information about the natural hot tub was given. The room was clean and very comfortable with our own bathroom and small kitchenette which was all we needed so we did not use the very well equipped shared kitchen. The environment is peaceful with beautiful views. We were very lucky to be sitting in the hot tub when the Northern lights appeared. If we return to Iceland we will return here, it was an absolute gem of a find. The hut was well equipped with everything you need and was nice and warm on a cold evening. Thank you

“Lovely cosy cabin stay”

Lovely location and really comfortable living area. Full kitchen set up for easy cooking and the hot tub was also great. Would definitely need a car to stay here. 7
