“A northern lights delight!”

We had a wonderful stay. Definitely the best place we stayed in Iceland. We felt it was great value and a great base to explore the south from, with beautiful surroundings and lovely spacious rooms! Family run, your stay feels very relaxed and private. Beautiful artwork around the property. The geothermal bath was amazing after a long cold day of exploring in December - we had two nights here and felt excited to drive home to the hotel each evening. The northern lights were visible clearly from our bedroom window. Breakfast was delicious and really well varied, something for everyone. Everyone at the hotel was super friendly, chilled and very helpful. We absolutely loved their Icelandic sheepdogs, who become your besties while you stay there - they made our stay!! If you’re in two minds about where to stay, you won’t regret 360 - we will definitely be back. The picture I’ve added is the view of the lights we had from our bedroom window.

Very charming small natural hotel with lovely thermal spa... Comfortable accomodation, very friendly family based stuff and excellent dinner, especially the lamp and fish choice was one of the best we have ever tasted!!!!Excellent location for traveling and hiking around, we can warmly recommend!

We liked our staying, SPA is simple but really comfortable. Dinner and breakfast had good choice. Wine list and bar list also were sufficient. We slept well and felt ourselves very relaxed.

This boutique hotel is set high on a ridge line with incredible views. The staff were very welcoming and very friendly and nothing was to difficult. The rooms were stunning and very comfortable. The thermal baths were a treat. The breakfast was amazing. Our best hotel in Iceland.

“Ideal in every way!”

Everything about it was perfect. The rooms and hotel are immaculately designed; the location is perfect to sightseeing southern Iceland; free parking, facilities (WiFi, tv, shower and coffee making etc) were excellent. The food was delicious and compliments to the chef! The owners were lovely and friendly, happy to answer questions and very knowledgeable. Their two dogs just made us feel like a home away from home. Great hotel for catching northern lights on a clear night due to the location. Peaceful and quiet and tucked away in a lovely natural spot off the ring road. Perfect in every way.

“Words can’t do justice to this stunning little gem of a hotel”

The hotel was recommended by a travel agent friend for the night of my Birthday…. Wow, it didn’t disappoint on any level. A small boutique hotel with a great ambiance. The staff were super friendly, as were resident dogs. We were only there for one night after a day seeing the sights of the Golden Circle, before heading along the South Coast. The Hotel is easy to find and well sign posted, in a stunning location. I took advantage of the onsite thermal baths before breakfast, highly recommended to start the day 😁The food was excellent for both dinner and breakfast. Gluten free options were no problem at all. I cannot rate this fantastic hotel highly enough

“Perfect six night stay near Selfoss”

Stayed here for six nights. Loved our stay totally and recommend the hotel to everyone who does not want to stay at a anonymous hotel but still wants the comfort of a hotel. The owner couple was very guest friendly and knew exactly the right amount between being talkative and leaving guests their space. They work really hard from morning to evening and do their best to give guests a joyful time. Great people! Just three minutes off the ring road you are having a peaceful place with great views. We enjoyed it a lot to hang out in their hot indoor and outdoor pool after our day trips. It's all natural water, so don't get offended if there is some sand or some algae in the water. Did not bother us at all. You need to know that two dogs are also part of the hotel family. So you shouldn't have a problem with them being around. We are both not the biggest dog persons but had no problem with them at all. They are fun to watch as one is the older and relaxed one and the other seems quite young and playful. And don't be afraid: they don't bark a lot - so no issues in getting disturbed in your sleep or so. Breakfast and dinner was yummie and totally enough. Would we come again? Totally! Would we suggest the hotel to others: totally! So stop thinking and book your room:-)!

“Outstanding and stunning location”

What a wonderful location ! The views were outstanding . We stayed for two nights . Loved chatting to Anna about Iceland , the horses , the food , the traditions . The hotel is home from home and very comfortable . Beautiful design . Floor to ceiling windows . Great location for exploring . We ate at the hotel each evening . The dinner was delicious , beautifully presented … Breakfast was outstanding - wonderful choice. Would highly recommend We saw the volcano erupting from our room whilst we were there and a number of guests arrived from the Blue Lagoon area that had to be evacuated. . They coped well with the sudden addition of guests . Lots of vistas to see the Northern Lights but unfortunately we did not see them for the two nights we were there .

“Amazing place to stay, I wish we had stayed for more than one night!”

Use of the spa was included in the price and only one other guest used the facilities while we did. The track to the hotel was fine despite the heavy snow. General vibe. Lovely dogs!

“Best hotel in Iceland”

This hotel is exceptional. The rooms are beautiful, with lovely views, Anna the owner is so attentive. There are wonderful places around the grounds to walk, the range of different thermal baths is fun and the evening dinner is delicious. Having come to Iceland every year since 2018 I can honestly say you must stay here.

Beautifully furnished and great to have access to the spa. Friendly human and dog hosts! Cosy bar area with lots of games.

The hotel was incredibly welcoming and beautiful. It was in the middle of the Icelandic nature which in itself was gorgeous. We loved the homey feel to the hotel, with communal parts being shared, which was a unique touch. The room was gorgeous and the staff was lovely. We even saw the northern lights!
