Definitely one of the coolest and coziest accommodations in Southern Moldova :) I was looking for something authentic and national and I found it. House is located in a nice village. Rooms are beautiful. Beds are comfortable. Hostess is very kind, helpful and happy to introduce the place. We arrived late and wanted dinner. We got it - it was very tasty. Wifi worked well. Be sure to visit this wonderful place!

First of all the big thanks to Madalina, she had to be away during our stay (we were taken care of by another staff member) but she was available the whole time. She took our order for the dinner, told us about the place and answered all the questions. We were able to buy some local produce as well. The house is kept in the traditional way, with a lot of carpets, old comfy beds and furniture. It has all the modern necessary amenities, a good bathroom, kitchen, wifi, tv etc. Leave some time in the morning or arrive earlier for a house tour. Overall it was a the highlight of our short Moldova trip.

What a unique experience and location „ in the middle of nowhere“; a real gem! Mădăliná‘s house and garden are half museum, half a summer house living countryside. Most impressive the approach to keep traditional items and decorations added up with ultramodern utilities like megafast WiFi, brandnew bathroom with washing machine and coffee/tea gratis all you can drink. A Lady from the village prepared homemade dinner, I could walk the garden, next morning we visited the vine cellar, a sauna to be build etc pp. Do not be afraid of the remote village and the gravel access road: once in, it is BEAUTIFUL.

It's an amazing place where to get relaxed and stay in contact with nature. If you are searching for an authentic place where to live the local culture, this is the right place! Maddalena is a lovely host and all the staff takes care about you. Also the food was genuine and tasty. Hope to come back in the future!

Wonderful, green, peaceful and enchanting place. Delicious food and wine. A charming owner who is doing her best to inform the guests about moldavian culture, traditions and folklore. We learned a lot. Possibility to pay by card and buy traditional goods is also cool. I highly recommend it.

I loved my stay at Madalina's. It made me feel like I was back at grandma's home. Everything was perfect, from the room to the delicious food.

It is a beautiful, traditional village house in a small village of Selemet. Everything in the house was beautiful and traditional. Had everything you need in a home. If you want to experience a quite village life, that’s the place you want to chill out few days. I didn’t have my own transport but was able to go to other villages and towns by public buses. The host is a young woman who speaks perfect English and was very caring and kind. The meals they served was all home cooked. The village had a small museum which was very nice.

This is not just a guesthouse but a living ethnographic museum as well. You can experience the true old Moldavian way of living on the countryside in a typical Moldavian village house between authentic decorations, furnitures. And there is also two separate rooms which operates as a museum and you can see every kind of articles which is used by the Moldavian villagers in the past. Although the house is fully old fashioned, you can also find TV, Wifi and a modern bathroom which are covers the requirements of nowadays needs as well. The business is run by a young girl and her mother. Both of them are very kind, the girl speaks english very well and they are also making very good house wine for extremely good price and selling other homemade drinks and pickled vegetables. Highly reccomend to taste their wine. A delicious breakfast made by the girl's mother is also included the price. I highly recommend this guesthouse for everyone who interested about Moldavian culture and I guarrantee it will be a unforgettable experience.

If you're looking for a place to experience traditional life in a Moldovan village, this is the place to stay. The staff is very friendly and hospitable. The area of the house is beautifully decorated. The food is very tasty. The villagers are very nice, the air is fresh. The village is very quiet and cozy. Keep in mind that you are hearing this from someone originally from Moldova. It's great here. You will want to return to this wonderful place again and again.
