The accommodation is very beautiful, with a traditional Turkish interior. The house is conveniently located in the heart of Selçuk. The hosts are friendly and speak excellent English. Everything is very clean. The breakfasts are delicious and served on the terrace. We stayed for two nights instead of one.

“We loved it!”
Homeros was perfect for our short stay in Selçuk, we were welcomed warmly and loved its location tucked down a quiet shady street, but very close to things to do, and to some local Stork nests! The room was lovely and cosy, we had a good breakfast to start our day and the rooftop offers a fantastic view. We’d definitely come back and recommend it if you’re planning a stay :)

“Homeros Pension and Guesthouse is a delight! Highly recommended.”
Homeros Pension and Guesthouse is a delight! The owner is super-friendly and helpful, she serves the most wonderful home-cooked breakfast for 6 Euros. The place is wonderfully quirky, lots of very bright decorations on the walls and rugs on the floor. You feel like you're in a genuinely Turkish home. The upstairs dining area is a great place to relax during the day. The room was quiet, comfortable and a good size with nice views and a breeze. The location is excellent, close to the Museum, St. John Basilica, Castle and lots of good restaurants, cafes and the bus & train stations.

“It is a dump”
I am afraid there is nothing to like there. OK, it is cheap, though when I was checking in, the landlady tried to charge me twice the price I booked it for at booking.com. Reluctantly, she agreed to the price I had in my reservation confirmation. It is "pay cash directly at the property" so be vigilant when you pay.

“Clean warm delicious convenient”
The host Shaziye makes great breakfast for us which we are so appreciate. The room is decorated by the host which is very warm and creative. We drive there by ourselves and Shaziye praise me. We feel very comfortable about the room and the rooftop. Don’t forget to go upstairs to see the 1300 years old mosque. This hotel you live can walk to the attractions and restaurants. The museum is recommended.

Lovely small hotel (5 or 6 rooms, maybe?), I assume it used to be a house, and it was converted into a hotel. The decor of the rooms is very traditional, makes you feel you're visiting Turkey 100 years ago! Yet everything is super clean and taken care of. The bed was firm but comfortable, and the wifi worked great! The hotel is located in the old part of town, with its tight cobbled streets, old houses and mosques, very quiet (woke up to the sound of birds) and very quiant. Feels like you're staying in a small village while you're there. The hotel is, however, only a 5 or 6 minute walk to the busier, main part of town with all the shops, bars, stores, and restaurants. It was a 10 minute walk from the train station so it's very convenient; the museum and the bus stations are very close too. The view from the terrace is lovely too! Breakfast is included, I had a boiled egg, salad, bread, cheese, and tea. It's plenty and more than enough to get your day started ! I paid 200 liras to get to Ephesus in taxi (may 2024, prices change quickly due to inflation).

“Attractively decorated, family-run pension offering a lovely atmosphere in summer”
Long-time favouirite pension in popular Selçuk where some of the rooms have lovely imaginative and colourful decor. In summer the terrace is a great place to meet other travellers and admire view. Breakfast room as colourful as some of the bedrooms. Location could hardly be better, close to bus station, Ephesus museum and road to ruins of Ephesus.

“Good for solo travelers, not a great stay for couples.”
**Review for Homeros Pension House: Cozy, Authentic, But Better for Solo Travelers** Homeros Pension House is ideal for solo travelers seeking an authentic Turkish household vibe. The decor is charming and captures the essence of a traditional Turkish home, giving a unique experience for those who appreciate that cultural touch. **Pros:** - **Warm Hosts:** The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home, adding a personal touch to our stay. - **Great Location:** The location was fantastic, offering easy access to local sights and a warm neighborhood atmosphere.

“Folkish charm, wonderful views and very helpful staff.”
This is an adorable and characterful accommodation. I loved the folkish charm. The only issue was the shower / bathroom. The staff here were so incredibly helpful it really made it worthwhile. I forgot some clothes in the wardrobe and they helped courier them to our next location which was very much appreciated.

“Perfect place for visiting Ephesus”
The owners are just lovely, so friendly and helpful. We were greeted with cold drinks on the terrace in the evening sun, which was perfect after a long drive. Very cute accommodation. It’s a really quiet location, just a few minutes walk to the restaurants in the town centre. It’s also only short drive to Ephesus.
