Wonderful quirky property, beautifully decorated. Only two minutes walk from the Lake Ashi sightseeing cruise boat dock. Large rooms, comfortable beds. Very helpful hosts.

The stay was simply perfect. The house was spotless and much more spacious than the pictures suggest. You can feel the love in every detail of the interior,it doesn’t feel like a "hotel" at all, but like a real home, fully equipped for a comfortable stay over several days. The location is also brilliant. I already had high expectations based on the photos, but they were clearly exceeded. No doubt: if I ever come back to Japan, I’ll rent this house again,for that price, absolutely.

“Great short stay in Hakone”
This place was the largest place during our trip to Japan. Large open floors. Bedrooms were big. This can easily fit and accommodate a large group of people. It had all the facilities needed. The outside was decorated beautifully and lit up at night.

“Lovely stay with pleasant decorations”
Had a nice stay here, very traditional but also has a nice dining area where we could relax at the table and watch TV as a group. Area is well connected, the bus stop we got off at was right next to the street that leads to the hotel, and for those interested in the Hakone Sightseeing Cruise (Pirate Ship) the port is just 5 minutes away.
