Overview
Overlooking Seinäjoki’s main square, this hotel is only 500 metres from Seinäjoki Train Station. It offers a popular nightclub, two restaurants, 3 saunas and rooms with flat-screen TVs. Free Wi-Fi is provided in each room at Original Sokos Hotel Vaakuna Seinäjoki. All rooms come with work desks and a selection of TV channels. Some rooms feature a private sauna and a minibar. Amarillo Restaurant serves tex mex food in a relaxing environment. Restaurant Talriikki serves local cuisine. Seinäjoki Vaakuna Hotel is just a 10-minute walk the Mallaskoski brewery and the Lakeuden Risti Church, which was designed by Alvar Aalto is a 5-minute walk away.

“Always a pleasure to stay here for business”
Original Sokos Vaakuna just always lives up to expectations of a 4 star hotel. The staff is really nice and professional. The gym is not large, but very well equipped. The sauna is okay. Choice between a classic restaurant or an easy going texmex experience at Amarillo with great barkeeping, dito cocktails and ice cold beers. Always a pleasure to stay here.

“Fine hotel for business travelers. Traditional Finnish extremely small bathroom.”
Gym is small but well equipped. Two restaurants to chose from. One with fine and healthy seasonal dishes. One with easy Mexican food. More cheap that good quality

“Smart and cosy choice for a non-Finnish guest”
The hotel is a perfect choice if you ever get to Seinajoki. Never heard about it before getting there on a late Ocotber, but it was a very nice surprise. The greatest advantage of the hotel is that it has two restaurants to suit all tastes: a restaurant and some sort of pub-restaurant. I had an exquisite traditional dinnner in the restaurant where the personnel and atmosphere took me closer to Xmas cosy and familiar atmosphere. Room was nice and clean, personnel very nice. In case you ever get here, no matter the time of the year, a must-do is a visit to the Kyro Distillery in Isokyro.

Located in the centre, easy to find and with an underground parking (8€/24hr). The check-in/out were very fast, the staff was very helpful, and the room was clean, comfortable and extremely quiet. They have a sauna and a nice small gym on the 2nd floor, free of charge with all the equipment you need to train. The breakfast buffet was excellent. It's my favourite hotel in Seinäjoki.
