I’ve never tried hot ginger water before, but will certainly try to make it at home. I walked up the hill into the woods above the hotel, very enjoyable on a bright cold (-6C) morning.

The room and bed were comfortable, staff very friendly and efficient. The food was excellent. Parking was easy. Having eaten some rubbish on the drive there, we needed to eat but not huge amounts. We discovered that they have a ‘plate’ offer with either mixed salad or dessert for 20 euros. Ideal.
