Be aware FRAUD! I recently booked a stay at Ferienhaus “Am Bergblick” Sebnitz through Booking.com, and I must say that my experience was nothing short of disappointing and frustrating. While the property itself appeared decent, the way the owner handled the situation left me deeply dissatisfied. Upon arrival, I made sure to follow all the rules and regulations set by the accommodation, including proper trash disposal. However, to my shock, the owner decided to withhold my damage deposit, claiming that I had not separated the trash correctly. This allegation couldn't be further from the truth, as I meticulously followed the guidelines throughout my entire stay. What makes matters worse is that the owner's decision seemed to be based on false pretenses, amounting to nothing less than deception and fraud. As a guest, I believe I deserve fair treatment and transparency, which unfortunately was lacking in this case. I reached out to Booking.com's customer support to file a complaint and have the matter investigated. Although they were responsive and acknowledged my concerns, it is still disheartening to have gone through such an ordeal during what was supposed to be a relaxing getaway. I want to warn other potential guests about this situation and urge them to be cautious when booking at Ferienhaus “Am Bergblick” Sebnitz. While the property itself might seem fine, the integrity of the owner's actions is questionable at best. I hope my review serves as a cautionary tale and prompts the necessary changes to prevent similar incidents in the future. As a loyal user of Booking.com, I expected better customer service and accountability. I hope they take this matter seriously and ensure that guests are treated fairly and respectfully. Until then, I regret to say that I cannot recommend staying at this accommodation based on my unfortunate experience.
