This elegant and historic 4-star hotel offers a tasteful ambience and an idyllic location in the heart of Schwerin, on the shores of the citys Pfaffenteich lake. Paid private parking is available on site. Built in 1901, the Hotel Niederländischer Hof provides rooms with stylish English furniture and luxuriously fitted marble bathrooms. “Ideal Schwerin vantage point”
Beautiful old school lodging by the lake. Just a stone's throw from the train station and the old town. Really liked the room, breakfast and friendly staff. Clean, tidy, inviting. I loved the cart at the entrance with coffee, ice tea and pastries for guests. I wish more hotels did the same. The recently renovated lounge was quite nice too.

“Stunning property on a picturesque lake”
The property was stunning, located on a picturesque lake very close to the old town. The bar and breakfast also stood out. Friendly staff and a comfy bed to top it off.

“Lovely place to stay”
Beautiful old building in a great location only a short walk from the old town centre. Our room was large and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was plentiful with a great selection of. All the staff were lovely and there is secure parking

“A charming hotel in an amazing location with incredible staff.”
What a beautiful hotel! Absolutely stunning. Staff couldn’t have done enough for us too. The hotel was right on the side of a gorgeous lake and a few minutes walk into the old town. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Probably the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in.

“Lovely hotel in a lovely town”
Staff were friendly and helpful. Decor and furniture had a vintage/ antique look, including a four poster bed. Located very close to the railway station, and with a pretty view over the Pfaffenteich lake.

“Never again- worst stay in a hotel and worst experienced behaviiour of staff”
Very rude and unfriendly receptionists No aircondition/ smells bad No refrigeratior/ mini bar Uncomfortable Beds with plastic sheets Rain came through the window Very old - needs renovation Front desk arrogant, not welcoming, not helpful, very unfriendly, Unacceptable behavior , preachy

Charming, very comfortable, traditional hotel. It has many fine points, but the best of all is the unfailingly helpful and cheerful staff on the front desk. This is without doubt my favourite hotel in Schwerin.
