“Best experience ever!”

It's a piece of heaven; gorgeous views to the mountains from our room, everything and everywhere exceptionally clean, great breakfast buffet, perfect location, and a nice spa/pool... couldn't be better. We thought this was a 4-star hotel given everything while it's only a 3-star one!

The location is very good. We really loved the hotel. It was beautiful, and the antique and vintage items give it a unique and warm atmosphere.

Everything was better than expected

We, a family of five, came to this place after visiting Budapest, Vienna and Salzburg over Christmas and new years holidays. We had a perfect stay at the hotel and in the nature in the Königssee area to finish our holidays. The building and the property are very idyllic. We had a spacious family suite with beautiful views to the mountains. The breakfast was very good, as well as the dinner. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We also liked the pool and sauna area, especially after a cold day out. The indoor kids play area was also great and we also played some ping pong there in the evening and loved how fairytale-like the area around the hotel was covered in snow. The property has a great location, too. The area of Königssee and Berchtesgaden is beautiful and offers many activities which we could easily reach with the car because of the great location. First we thought we would stay one night only but we stayed the whole weekend in the end and would love to come back again.

Lovely room and bed. Staff were friendly.

Cozy room, comfortable bed, excellent parking, a small children’s playground at the hotel, and a veranda where you can order a snack in the evening if you don’t feel like going down to Berchtesgaden. Very quiet and surrounded by nature.

“Best Alpine experience”

I booked this hotel because it was close to the salt mine I wanted to visit. I loved the place! I got a free upgrade, the room was very nice and comfortable. The breakfast is excellent! And also I really enjoyed the pools. Will be happy to visit this hotel one more time.

Beautiful location and lovely balcony and breakfast. Staff were exceptional and extremely helpful on arrival and departure. No coffee or tea in the room for the price was a bit disappointing. Would have stayed longer though as we only stayed one night sadly.

Loved the view of the mountains and the pool was so lovely- the breakfast was delicious and I loved how quiet it was. We'd just gotten married and they made up our bed so nicely with flowers and swan towels - it felt really special

Location lovely. Fab view. Breakfast was ok, probably up to local standards which are average. Coffees from the machine were adequate but the prepared flasks were not. Quite crowded at peak breakfast time. Evening meals were good. It’s worth knowing this is very much a family hotel. Lots of small children. They were largely very well behaved. But not really a couples place.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Level of Cleanliness was incredible. Exceptional breakfast. Free welcome drink upon arrival. Free access card for public transport. Facilities were very good.

We loved the whole area and large hotel's garden with a very nice outdoor swimming pool. Breakfast was also great and all the employees were extremely nice and helpful. We definitely want to come back.
