Amazing location right at the lake. Clean room and friendly receptionist. Although the breakfast was not extensive, the items served were good. Free parking available behind the hotel, which was difficult to find upon arrival, but the receptionist helped. You also get a guest card during your stay to get discounts on tourist attractions in the area.

All the staff from the cleaners to the restaurant waiters & the reception were very good. Rooms have been modernised to a very high standard.

Location fabulous, right on the lake, only 1 of 2 Hotels in that location. Most rooms are to the rear and away from the lake and hubbub of tourism, so they're quiet and with balcony. Very comfy and modern furnishing, wonderful walk in shower. Beds very comfortable. Staff exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Lovely breakfast with a wide choice. Restaurant very good, seating outside lovely with full view over the lake and excellent Bavarian dishes and great beer. Good parking, once you find it. There is a small pebbly beach 10mins walk from the hotel and the swim in the lake was refreshing and with a most wonderful Alpine panorama.

Fabulous location, just a short walk from the beautiful Königsee. The room decor was nice, and the shower was great.

“Perfect location, comfortable”

Perfect location in front of the Königssee. The receptionist was super kind to give us a FREE room upgrade to a very nice and newly renovated room with balcony and direct view of the Königssee. The stay was so worth it after night-shift work and the 10hr-train-travel. Love the bed and the bathroom too. Breakfast buffet.

breakfast was good, location is absolutely unbeatable. The prices are a little high, but to stay for a few days just a 1 min walk from the lake, was totally worth it.

“Amazing stay, do try their restaurant too”

Upon checking in, we were provided with a Berchtesgaden card each, which provided us with free transport in the area and discounts at multiple attractions, we were also provided a map and booklet showcasing the attractions accessible with the card. Our room was perfect, plenty of space, and a balcony with seating area. The room was cleaned on each of the four days we stayed and the cleaning staff were very friendly when we bumped into them in the corridors. Breakfast was fantastic, with a full continental range on offer, some hot cooked items, and a hot drinks machine. As for location, it couldn't be any better situated unless it was on the lake itself, it's less than a minute walk to the ferry terminal, very close to lots of paths for any walkers, and 5 minutes walk from the bus station if you want to use your Berchtesgaden card to tour the local area. I would also highly recommend eating in the hotel restaurant in the evening at least once. The venison goulash had so much flavour, and is my favourite meal of our 2 week tour of Germany and Austria, and the boiled beef was great too!

Hotel provided guidance for parking as it's not so direct to find the right parking space. The location is in the central, boat riding point is within few minutes walk

Close to the lake, good food, wonderful Glühwein!
