Overview
This family-run hotel is located in the heart of the Rothaargebirge Nature Park, 7 km from Schmallenberg. Hotel Gasthaus Tröster serves regional cuisine in the rustic-style restaurant with garden terrace. The spacious rooms at Hotel Tröster feature traditional country décor with a seating area and a private bathroom with shower. “Perfect stay for our family with dog!”
Amazing surrounding and neighbourhood. Really queit and beautiful nature. The host Christiaan was so helpful during our stay since we’ve had some personal problems. The bed slept wonderfull, breakfast was good, so was the wine ;)

“Very nice hotel, clean comfortabel rooms and helpful owner”
Very nice hotel with good secure parking for motorcycles. Owner very helpful and location easy to find. Rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was good. Need to be aware that restaurant was not open for evening meals when we were there and is unlikley to open again due to staff shortages. Two neighbouring hotels both have restauarants but you need to book.

Owner is an excellent host. Breakfast very good, a lot of choise. Dinner fine. Could park the motorbike in the carport.
