“A pleasant hotel in the village of Schierke...”
A pleasant hotel in the village of Schierke, in perfect walking distance to the many trails and the very popular Stempelstation located in the Hartz Mountain National Park. Dinner in the evening was good, and served by kind and friendly staff. The room was a decent size and clean, the en suite bathroom was very 'cosy', in other words, small. If you speak English and no German there could be communication problems...

“Good location but make sure you get the right room”
