Overview
This family-run guest house enjoys a quiet location in the village of Schierke, surrounded by forest countryside in the Harz Mountains. Garni-Pension Andrä offers country-style rooms with wooden interiors. All bright rooms and apartments at Garni-Pension Andrä include TV, a seating area and a private bathroom with shower. Rooms offer views of the surrounding green countryside of the Harz Nature Park. Guests can enjoy a breakfast buffet each morning in the classic-style café with its wood panelling and view of the garden. Drinks are also served on the outside terrace in summer. Schierke is an ideal starting point for hiking, cycling and cross-country skiing tours to the top of the Brocken Mountain, or guests can take the Brockenbahn Train.

Easy check-in with a code, great location in Schierke, we had the possibility to leave our car in the morning at their parking spot and check-in later in the day which was great

With the whole family, we actually booked an apartment with two bedrooms (there was one more bedroom available) under the roof. The place was super quiet. The breakfast was very good, tons of options, the staff upon my advance notice even arranged for gluten-free rolls for my wife. The place is a good start for hiking in Harz (e.g. when going to Brocken).

“Short stay in schierke”
We liked the location, opposite the tourism office and supermarket. It was also a short walk to the start of the hike. Room had TV we could link phone and watch a YouTube video. Bed was comfortable. I was a bit cold but found blanket in the morning. We enjoyed the breakfast.
