“Incredibly lovely stay!”

Absolutely wonderful stay! The apartment is spacious, clean, and unique, with a beautifully maintained surrounding area. Communication with the hosts was perfect — they were extremely helpful, kind, and always ready to assist with anything needed. The home is very well equipped, so we had everything we could possibly need. A good night’s sleep is guaranteed, as the beds are incredibly comfortable. Highly recommended!

“Great place”

We had a lovely room Really comfortable bed The host was really nice 10-15 walk to see the windmills ( one of the windmills is the biggest in the world) We took a train to Rotterdam which was great.

The friendliness and hospitality of the host was exemplary and exceptional. The style and interior design of this place have been selected and put together with excellent care and precision.

Amazing place. Really good communication throughout the day of us arriving as we were coming from the Polish border. Super amount of space as we never had a room with a living room as well. Great breakfast

The comfort and the informal ambiance. Ease of check in and moving around. The availability of enough coffee and tea. Comfortable beds. As we were in the top floor also a lot of privacy so feeling like as if at home.

Very comfortable & well equipped room with coffee maker, tea, fridge, table & chairs, huge big comfy bed. Bathroom & separate toilet adjacent. Street parking free & unlimited. Short walk to old town, restaurants etc. Host very helpful & friendly.

Very hospitable host. We felt really welcomed and could experience a real dutch home. Had everything we needed.

“Lovely building & location, but terribly cold.”

There's a coffee machine and a tea kettle that you can use while hanging out in the lovely lounge area when you're not sleeping. We hadn't expected to receive a full floor when we rented it which was wonderful. It is also very accessible and a walking distance from the center of Schiedam. The building is also classic. The beds and pillows were comfy and we all had a good night's rest as far as I'm aware.

Liked the overall decoration and vibe of the suites. You also get coffee and tea in your room with creamer and nice dishes. It is an old, nice house. Perfect for authentic stay.

friendly host. central location for Schiedam

Tasteful and stylish equipped large rooms for living and sleeping, very and a nice renovated bathroom on the second floor of an traditional dutch house. There is an extra small room with two single bed, which is very comfortable, my kids liked it. You have easy acces to Schiedam cetrum (by foot) and to the next metro in 10 min, which brings you into Rotterdam centrum in about 15 min. You also can reach Den Haag in about 25 min from Schiedam Centrum. There are supermarkets and a bakery in walking distance. The first days when we arrived the weather was very hot, but there are cooling fans inside the appartement which were very nice. The owner is very helpful.

“Disappointing”

An old house. Our rooms were on the top floor. The host statement on the site: "Daily housekeeping" does not correspond to reality. Cleaning is not done when you arrive. The place is dirty, there is dust everywhere, on the floor, on the table as well. Carpets were not vacuumed. I suppose we were offered slippers to pass over the dust and dirt, but we did not use them as they were dirty. Poor hygiene. The host’s statement on the site: "a private bathroom" - couldn't be private at all. The bathroom is on the hallway. Could not stay in as the door doesn't lock. The water in the toilet flushes by pushing a button under it (and you do really need force to push it) The flush is very noisy. The host guarantees that there will be locks. Again false. The bedroom for children is really tiny and doesn’t have a lock as well. The door to the living room doesn't close. It can only be locked. The floors, the doors are creaking so it creates an unpleasant feeling when walking. The window in the master bedroom cannot be opened and it is written directly on the glass because the hinge is broken. The sockets in our rooms were far away from beds, table and nightstands so it was not comfortable to use them. Host statement: „People no matter the age stay for € 35 per person, per night when using an available extra bed.” We have requested an extra bed and surprisingly we were overcharged with 50 euro (the owner withdrew immediatelly from my card, without an approval, just by himself) although on the site a price of 35 euros is clearly mentioned. Accommodation is definitely not recommended.

when I booked it I had no idea we'd get an entire floor to ourselves, so that was a delightful surprise! Jan the host was super friendly and made us feel entirely at home. each room was tastefully decorated with lots of interesting items and pieces of furniture.

Great location just near old Schiedam. Large room with huge comfy bed. Weather was freezing but the house was warm and inviting. The robes were a nice touch and greatly appreciated.

A room with a beautiful ambiance that is very relaxing during business trips.

Very spacious. Excellent location with free street parking, short walk to centre and to transport links for Rotterdam.
