The B&B islocated in a rustic area near Groningen. The house is nicely decorated and felt comfortable. The breakfast was great.

It was an enjoyable stay. We had everything we needed and a great breakfast. It is clear that the hosts love what they do and what they offer.

The B&B is situated 11 kms outside of the city of Groningen, which translates to a mere 30 minutes by bus or 40 by bike. Perfect location if you want some peace & quiet, want to explore the countryside or do some walking. Onder Dak could also serve as an excellent basecamp if you (as I did) need to spend several days in the city to work at ESNS. The village of Scharmer / Harkstede is really quiet, but there is a bus every 30 minutes. Breakfast was really good, there is an abundance of everything you could ask for. The owners are very friendly and helped me, for instance when my work required me to change my early check-in to a midnight one. Room was great, equipped with a sink, has lots of windows and the bed was perfect: solid stuff, slept like a rose, 4 nights in a row. Recommended!

Clean, comfortable, big rooms with own bathroom and kitchen with all needed appliances. Calm and safe area with private parking. Good basic local breakfast, which they serve more of if desired. Friendly and actively communicating hosts, for example they spotted we had left a pillow and earphones in our room within five minutes after we left, and called us back to retrieve them, even though it took them a few attempts. Charging an electric vehicle is a nice bonus, but unfortunately only possible if your vehicle has a Type 1 plug, or you have a plug convertor with you.

Warm welcome by the owner had a good night rest on a good bed, not so long but ok. It's a old farm which is renovated into rooms for the upper floor.

Super, wonderful green lush Dutch garden town, with an old family house, tip top everything. The atmosphere is really family friendly. Breakfast is nice too.

Very friendly, accommodating hosts, great room andeven though it was a shared bathroom, it was very clean and well-maintained. The breakfast was very nice too!

Everything was great

Very clean, nice and excellent hosts.

The hosts were very nice. The house is cosy, with a wonderful garden. The room had very good beds and we slept well. Breakfast was spektakular! Shared bathroom was good. We went for a walk in the lovely place and after 10 min walk swam in the lake. Cold but terrific! I would love to come back.

Very nice, quiet place with wonderful garden, everything absolutely clean. Hosts were really kind. Very good breakfast, we could choose what type of eggs we’d like. For sure I’ll come back!
