“Clean, comfortable and with a delicious breakfast!”

We hade a fantastic two night stay at Fateh's Retreat. The staff were extremely helpful and the facilities were clean and well maintained. The room was spacious and comfortable and the cooked breakfast was one of the best we had while travelling. We also appreciated the readily available filtered water.

Beautiful location, attention to detail, outstanding helpful staff. We loved Fateh’s retreat from the moment we arrived. The garden, pool and rooms are lovely, and it is very peaceful. Delicious breakfasts, and we were kindly provided with very early morning coffee before our morning safari as well as water to take with us. The best place we’ve stayed so far in India!

“Book this place if in Ranthambore”

Amazing property and wonderful hospitality. Large clean rooms with fresh water and turndown service. Good large breakfast with cold and hot made-to-order options. Everything is thought through, including the morning safari wake up call with fresh coffee, and nothing is too much trouble. Excellent location (not in the busy town, close to the park entrances so not a long drive to safaris, jeeps and Cantors will pick you up from here rather than a central pick up point). Really good restaurant and bakery owned by same family at the end of the drive. The gardens are truly beautiful - our only regret is arriving late on check in day so not having much time to enjoy the pool and grounds

Everything. The rooms spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was great. The service from all the staff was fantastic. The pool and surroundings were beautiful. The lady in charge was so nice and made everything click together.

“A true retreat”

Fateh's Retreat is great and I would not hesitate to recommend it. Even before we checked in they reassured us and confirmed that our Ranthambore Safari bookings on the government website were ok, reassuring us that our pick up and drop off would be at the Retreat's gate. This was a big relief as we had not received any information or update from the government website. Jyoti and Usha welcomed us and made us feel at home at check in.. Appreciated their accommodating our request for twin beds (Hollywood!). Jyoti, a treasure, went the extra mile to help with my son's dietary requirements and health issues, and other requests, always with a beautiful smile. She organised a car to take us to the canter when it did not come to the Retreat, as scheduled to pick us up. Then met our last-minute request to organise a visit to Ranthambore Fort at a reasonable price. The staff members were very helpful and worked hard to ensure our stay was comfortable. Thank you all!

“Perfect safari stop”

Everything. Lovely setting. Felt very safe and cared for as a solo traveller. Excellent house keeping and services. Help to organise transfers and safaris. Cafe was delicious. Good breakfast - buffet and cooked. Safe chilled drinking water on site and to travel. Face cloth on return from safari was a nice touch.

“Perfect stopover for a chance to do the tiger safaris”

This is a great little hotel with comfortable rooms and a pool with a stunning view of the Araveli mountains. Rooms are quite basic but fine for a short stay. The staff were super helpful and welcoming and always made sure that our safaris went according to plan. Meals at Fateh’s Café are good and served by another delightful team who are keen to please.

We had a lovely, peaceful stay at Fateh's Retreat. Jyoti and the staff are all friendly and incredibly helpful. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Nice shower area with good quality shower gel and shampoo provided. The food in the restaurant is delicious, best aloo gobi we've ever tasted. Breakfast was fab, it's lovely to sit out at the pool after your morning safari. The coffee is also delicious, it's from a roasters in Jaipur and it was really nice to have good quality coffee in a cafetiere at breakfast. The pool is very refreshing on a hot afternoon. It's all so perfect!

Beautiful tranquil garden with lovely views of the hills above. Very organised for Safari visitors. Staff were absolutely lovely and welcoming and went the extra mile. Breakfasts were excellent, and the cafe at the bottom of the drive had a great selection of dishes. I can't fault it.

“Amazing hotel in beautiful setting”

Had a wonderful 2 night stay here. Staff are lovely and can’t do enough for you, even making sure you have blankets for the early morning safaris (which in January you definitely need - bring a warm hat too!) The setting is beautiful and gardens well maintained. Rooms simple but very comfortable and cleaned twice a day. From the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed and at home. Special thanks to Jyoti in reception who heads up a great team and to Girish in the restaurant who was very professional and treated us like VIP’s. Food and atmosphere excellent. Highly recommend.

“A must place to stay in Ranthambore”

An absolute beautiful homestay. Stunning views, the room was exceptional and very tasteful and clean. The bathroom was superb. We met Usha who is part of the family and very friendly. Jyoti who is the manager is amazing. Her and her team look after you as if you are family. Really wonderful team. The chai and breakfast was so yummy I ate too much! Every detail was thought out to make our stay exceptional. They even gave us blankets and water when we were going on safari. If you are looking for somewhere in Ranthambore, this is your place! Oh and the food in their onsite cafe/restaurant for dinner was also very yummy!

“Magical, like a tour through the real jungle book…”

The staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. Arranged the best person to drive us to the fort and unexpectedly was an expert at finding tigers - we saw Ganesh, the biggest male there…! And the food was incredible - breakfast at the hotel and evening meal at Fateh’s cafe not to be missed.
