“Highlight on our road trip!”

We loved absolutely everything: The unique location and country setting, beautiful buildings and gardens, comfy room in a cottage, amazing breakfast, the most picturesque and perfect sauna down by the lake (unforgettable!) and - last but not least - the super lovely, kind and helpful (giving great tips) owners, Laura and Kalle.

the common Kitchen was big. With a vintage piano & games to play. The dining table had a capacity for around 14 people. The farm and the forest cover was just awesome. Birds chirping and walkable grass, lake is just 1 km from the room, Sauna is the old traditional one, accessed only via booking so that privacy is respected. The dip in the lake after Sauna feels divine. Boats are available for free to row (if you are confident enough to). The family is friendly and very informative. There is a game area to play snooker. Free breakfast every morning. Cattles grazing, friendly dog. A place you will feel close to nature for sure!

“Great stay”

Basically evertyhing. I was traveling alone in off-season. I've been there alone so I got the whole house for myself. The breakfast served in full with many options like the place was full, that was amazing.

The location was amazing. The hosts were fantastic and they helped us a lot with everything we needed and with suggestions on what to do. They offer a lovely breakfast and dinner with fresh, local products which we really enjoyed. We also enjoyed the row boats in the lake, the walk in the forest and the sauna by the lake. Being in the sauna and then getting into the cold lake was actually one of the highlights of our trip. We stayed there for 3 nights but I could have easily spent more time, there were many activities to do in the surrounding areas.

We had an absolutely lovely time at Lomamokkila! The place is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by nature perfect for relaxing and enjoying the Finnish countryside. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home right away. The breakfast was delicious, and a cozy atmosphere in the main house. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We would definitely love to come back — thank you for such a warm and memorable stay! -PS: It was the perfect place to watch aurora.

Cleanliness Room

Accommodations are quite new, communal kitchen is available. Main building has been renovated and decorated with good taste.

The B&B is located in a beautiful farm, a neat and very well kept complex of many buildings, gardens, farm facilities, etc., all set in a peaceful lakeside environment. The main building is elegant, welcoming, and so are the owners. The room was a bit small for 3 people, but OK for a short stay. Breakfast was great! It seems in the middle of nowhere, but it takes just 15 drive to downtown. Price is fair. I would stay there again, 100%!!!

“Great place to enjoy time off in nature”

Great place to relax and enjoy some time off in nature. Everything is nicely furnished and very tidy. We enjoyed a great breakfast and also the dinner was very good. The owners are super nice and helpful.

Lovely picturesque place. Sadly we spent there only 1 night, this place worth to stay longer! It is an oasis of peace. At the same time, everyone can find their own activity there. We were also lucky with the weather, sunny 25 degrees.

Everything was charming, quiet and cozy. The host was so kind and suggested us best places and activities around the area. He sure is a 10/10. This place is amazing for connecting all the people who stay there.

Excellent breakfast. Very helpful and friendly owners. Beautiful location. Large and comfortable room and bathroom. Private area on the lakeshore for swimming and boating. I wish I could have stayed longer.

“Magnificent stay”

Everything was exceptional. On our first night we had early dinner there prior to the opera. It was better than any restaurant & very reasonably priced. The breakfast spread was also delicious. Laura Kalle & the whole Bjorn family were very lovely & extremely helpful. We took a canoe out on the lake which was very peaceful, no one else there. 15 minutes drive out by of Savonlinna but easy to find & countryside is beautiful
