Free bicycles available at the accommodation are perfect for driving around the surrounding olive groves. Beautiful place to stay for visiting Alberobello and Locorotondo and Ostuni - you just need a car.

The property is perfect for visiting the area's attractions as well as having the most relaxing time by the swimming pool ! From the facilities and wonderful pool through to the most amazing breakfasts with local produce provided by Silvia and her team. Nothing was too much trouble and I would thoroughly recommend booking this B&B.

“Magical place - completely surpassed all expectations.”

This is such a haven, tucked away in a quiet spot amongst fields of ancient olive trees, the place has a silence to it which is magical and calming. The breakfast was amazing, with every detail taken care of. Silvia and her husband are the perfect hosts, we felt very welcomed and cared for with every little detail paid careful attention to. We took bikes and cycled 10 minutes to the town where there are plenty of really nice restaurants and some shops. We would love to come back if we get the opportunity.

“Tranquil and genuine experience at L’Ulivo left us feeling recharged!”

L’Ulivo really exceeded our expectations. This is a family owned and run Bed and Breakfast and you can really tell that Silvia and Sandro care deeply about their guests and their property. A list of things we loved about our stay: 1. A small staff that was incredibly genuine, friendly, welcoming, accommodating. Silvia especially was so lovely to interact with. 2. Clean rooms; impeccably maintained grounds and facilities that were also secure. Air conditioning that works very well. 3. Totò, the sweetest pup that was around in the morning. 4. Delicious food. 5. Great recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. Assistance with reservations as needed. 6. Wonderful location - super quiet and peaceful but very nearby amazing larger Apulian cities that were fun to explore during the day. We would gladly recommend L’Ulivo without any hesitation to anyone looking for a place to stay in Puglia. When we left we actually had tears in our eyes, we were so sad to go. We can’t wait to come back and we travelled all the way from the west coast of the US!

The grounds with 1000 year old Olive tree’s & spectacular pool. Our host Sylvia so attentive assisting with numerous recommendations and bookings for us. The breakfasts also were amazingly freshly cooked, prepared & served.

Our stay at L'Ulivo was wonderful. Two minutes by car to the beautiful seaside town of Savelletri. The facilities were perfect and Silvia, her staff and Toto were amazing. Breakfast was something we looked forward to as Silvia cooked and baked everything and presented it beautifully. She was extremely helpful and made our stay perfect. Our room was a generous size and spotless with air conditioning and very good wifi. The pool was a bonus, and great to relax by after a long day exploring. It is clear that there is pride and passion to please their quests and we will definitely be going back. Highly recommended.

We could not fault our stay at L’Ulivo- everything was perfect. Firstly, Silvia and her husband are both amazing people and they couldn’t do more for you. From offering to drive us places (we did not rent a car), to providing recommendations for restaurants and beaches AND booking restaurants for us every night, they truly do make you feel welcomed and comfortable. The property is the most beautiful, peaceful place ever and the surroundings are breathtaking. Neither me nor my partner have ever felt more relaxed! The breakfast spread was slightly different everyday and extremely delicious. Everything is homemade by Silvia and there’s a wide variety from cakes and pastries to traditional puglian dishes. We did not rent a car and instead chose to utilise the bikes at the property. It took around 9-10 minutes to cycle into the town, with the view of the sea for most of the ride. It took less than 15 minutes to cycle to Cala Pescatone beach, which we would highly recommend. We paid €30 on Thursday for 2 sun loungers and an umbrella. On weekends the price is €35 (during high season). We had an amazing stay and plan to return in the future!

“A place to remember in Puglian sun - lovely stay!”

We are extremely happy that we chose L'Ulivo Bed and Breakfast for our accommodation of a 4 nights' stay in Valle d'Istria region. The owner Silvia and the team took such a good care of us and was always willing to give ideas for our holiday. Thank you again for making our stay unforgettable! We highly recommend this place. The establishment is very well kept, super clean and surrounded by the beautiful garden and a stunning pool area. As there are only a few rooms, it was a very relaxing atmosphere, and almost felt like having booked a private villa. The breakfast was amazing, every morning there were e.g. fresh fruit, home made cakes and savory little things and typical Puglian specialities such as cheese and "freselle" topped with tomatoes and herbs available. We also appreciated that there was a designated area where you can wash clothes and let your swimming suit and towels to dry. Very practical. For foreign travellers, wifi connection was also very good everywhere, in the room and in public areas. The location itself is perfect, too: it's quiet, and close enough to the seaside (a few minutes by car) and the nearest village centres are Savelletri di Fasano (seaside) and Fasano (inland). All the wonderful top attractions of Valle d'Istria are approximately 20-30km's distance away, which makes this accommodation an ideal place to stay and do little day trips. The private car parking in shade was very good, too. Italian countryside roads are quite narrow close to L'Ulivo, but with careful driving it was not a problem. We have a big car, and everything went well on the roads. For sunseekers, our recommendation for a "lido" nearby (by car), is Lido Cala Pescatore. Private beaches (lidos) might be quite pricy in high season in Puglia, but that little lido with a sandy beach and warm water was app. 20 eur/day with two sunbeds and an umbrella. That beach suits well for children too, as there were no high waves.

My boyfriend and I were there for 4 nights, and we had a lovely time. The B&B was better than expected, beautiful location amidst the olive trees. The breakfast was amazing, every food served had high quality, Frese al Pomodoro was my favorite. Silvia, and staff are very kind and friendly. The cleanliness was also impressive.
