Historic old building, good location, friendly staff, reasonable breakfast. Very good beds and pillows. Only hotel in Iceland during this trip ( total of 12) with dark blinds for white nights !! It has an excellent attached restaurant

Fantastic hotel. As an Icelander I can honestly say Hótel Tindastóll delivers a warm, traditional Icelandic hospitality and top level experience. Staff is amazing, facilities clean and traditional.

Hotel Tindastóll was hands down the best hotel we've stayed at during our trip. Gorgeous building and rooms, with friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant is fantastic, and I'd highly recommend trying the various drinks and spirits made in-house; our favourite was the mead made with arctic thyme.

“Amazing”
The vibe was absolutely amazing. Felt very homey and the staff were so kind. We stayed for 3 nights but wished we stayed longer. The bath outside was very nice aswell. The food was very good too. We have 0 complaints :) would definitely come back here
