The owners couldn’t do anymore to make it a great stay and so hospitable. Evening meal was exceptional and would recommend anyone who wanted time away to relax I was on Camino to come here.

A genuinely exceptional place to stay. Lucia upgraded me to a very generous sized and well facilitated room upon arrival. Laundry service is complimentary.There’s an honesty bar and a lovely comfortable covered terrace with a great view to enjoy too. Dinner was fantastic, regional food and drink from Galicia and other from other parts along the Camino path. Breakfast is fabulous too and not to be missed.

Lucia is wonderful - incredible host, the house is immaculate and wonderfully peaceful- we had the best sleep on the Camino ! The location is fantastic right on Camino. The honesty bar, breakfast and dinner options are excellent.

Owners are so nice and helpful and had a big welcome after our long day of travelling from Ireland. They had some food ready for us, and their place was perfect. Their place was exceptional. They were so helpful and would go back there in a heart beat

Casa Acougo is the perfect place to unwind and relax. Our room was beautifully decorated and very clean. We enjoyed a delicious dinner with excellent wines, and above all, the warm hospitality of Lucía and Sebastian created such a welcoming atmosphere. Every detail made our stay truly special!

Beautiful spot for us wanting to be a few km short of Sarria on the Camino. Lovely terraces. We had the evening meal with the host and we thought it was wonderful. Local dishes, yet great representatives of other Spanish regions. Breakfast was amazing. For us on the Camino it may have seemed a little expensive but turned out great value for money.

I loved everything. On the Camino (whatever route you take - San Xil or Samos). When you arrive, shoes are put in a drying thing! The room was spotless! Bed was comfortable. Very clean bathroom, has a bidet. Also the best smelling shampoo and soap entire Camino. So good, I showered twice!😍. Laundry and drying service was inclusive in check in which was a nice touch! Breakfast is also included, and it was heavenly!! I ordered dinner and everything was lovely!! I was so full after. It was the finest dining experience! This is my best stay in the entire Camino! Lucia and Seb were wonderful hosts! They even prepped lunch for me to take for the next Camino day. They even showed me around Sarria! For sure, if I do the Camino again, this will be the top of my where to stay list. If you plan to splurge, splurge here! Topnotch service! Very passionate and goes beyond! Don’t miss out on this wonderful experience!! 🥰

We loved our 1st night in Spain before starting our Camino journey - our stay with Lucia and Sebastian was truly a delight! Their hospitality knew no limits and we had a beautiful taster meal on our arrival from local produce which they took great pride in explaining to us. We could not recommend this highly enough!

Lucia and Sebastian were wonderful hosts. They welcomed us into their home and treated us like royalty. Their house was beautiful and very, very clean. Sebastian made a gourmet dinner for us like you might find in a 5* restaurant and made a breakfast the next morning to match it. Everything. We thought we had died and gone to heaven! Lucia is incredibly kind and hospitable. She cared for us as though we were her parents. The food was Michelin star level and beautifully presented. We wanted for nothing. The bedrooms were beautifully furnished and of the highest quality. The house is artistically exciting and interesting in its modern design.
