Overview
Albergue O Durmiñento is located in central Sarria, on the Camino Francés section of the Camino de Santiago Pilgrimage Route and 1 minute walk away from Santa Marina Church, where the Camino de Santiago credentials are issued. This stylish hostel has a terrace with great city views. We also have a carrying backpack service to Portomarin. The spacious, colourful rooms at O Durmiñento feature bunk beds and free Wi-Fi. There are several shared bathrooms with hot water available 24 hours a day. There is a computer with free internet connection in reception. The property has a restaurant serving traditional Galician food for lunch and dinner. There are also tables and chairs on the terrace where you can enjoy a drink. Packed lunches are available on request. Albergue O Durmiñento is just 30 metres from Santa Marina Church, where you can receive your pilgrim’s stamp and attend the pilgrimage mass. Lugo is a 30-minute drive away.

Close to the start of the camino route section in Sarria. Good communication with host. Basic hostel with hostel facilities as expected.

“Very nice place”
The room was spacious, and although it was a dormitory, there were chairs and a table there. There were good facilities to handwash your clothes and a beautiful terrace with a great view on the rooftops.

Right on the Camino. Big window with a view of the church. We had a triple room for 2 and so had plenty of space.

A climb to the hostel. Out the door and turn left and you are on the Camino route. Lovely homely feel to the accommodation.

“Surely the best albergue in Sarria!”
superb Alburgue! All the small details were taken care of and all the subtle finishing touches well appreciated, such as courtesy towels, plush pillows, full private bathrooms with light switches (not just the sensor lights!) all of it made for such an enjoyable stay, as well as the awesome hosts who made us feel incredibly welcome and the great balcony with stunning views across Sarria. I would highly recommend staying here in Sarria!

“Good location for the Camino”
Very central, so good access to restaurants. Warm welcome, and a laundry service, which was great after a day in the rain! Clean, quiet and comfortable, small dorm room with access to a kitchen and roof terrace.
