“Family run accommodation trying to do their best in a small town. Be aware there are no lifts and rooms are up the stair”
Well located but be aware that if you book the apartment it is 500 metres from the rest of the accommodation including where you book in

“This will probably be a great place once renovated. Just be aware that it may not be what you expect”
We were only there one night and the rooms were fine. What made our stay wonderful was Alex, who was working the desk that week. He put 100%+ into making our group happy by offering rooms in the same building (one at a discount) and heroically driving us when our Uber didn't show up in the morning. Alex is the BEST!!

The location and the restaurant, which has a good ambiance and reasonable food although I have to say it was busy with very slow service as a result. Breakfast was okay.

“We had a pleasant relaxed stay and enjoyed our stay at Serrbourg.”
Proximity to the station as no taxis appeared to be available the day we arrived. Lovely restaurant attached meant we didn’t have to go looking for dinner. Staff were always helpful and courteous, even rendering first aid to my husband when he cut his arm on a taxi door.

For a small town hotel it was an amazing surprise - the reception, dining and bar area have been done out amazingly with an incredible wooden counter and plants hanging from every wall. It was like finding a pleasant island oasis. Alison and family were very hospitable and the food was pretty good too...........we really enjoyed our one night stay en route to a canal barging trip. A definite place to stay over if you need accommodation in the area.
